During breakfast all window tables were booked, staff did not let sit there. Afterwards they shared that the booking is for the night. External pool closed early.

Bit chaotic. Cleaning very sporadic. During our total stay of nearly two weeks, the bedsheets were never changed, despite me asking for a full clean, and on 4 days no-one cleaned at all - no towels or bin emptying. The shower in the bathroom had no bracket to hold it, so you had to shower holding the shower head above you. I flagged this to reception but nothing was done unfortunately and it became embarrassing the number of times I had to go up to ask for things, so I just gave up. Some of the titles were also coming off the bathroom wall. The water was turned off at least 4 times during our stay when we were trying to shower or use the tap to drink. One time a hotel staff member just walked unannounced (no knock) into our room while we were in bed together. We heard staff members yelling at each other and swearing in the courtyard. Building work taking place before 9am. The spa area could be lovely, but we were not given robes and spa towels like the other guests for some reason. We stayed for nearly 2 weeks and the shampoo and shower gel was empty for the entire duration of our stay in all the showers - very odd and makes me think no one is cleaning it. Also saw the same half drunk drinks left by the pool for multiple days without being collected. Could be a great hotel but it is poorly run and lacking organisation and procedures. For example, we stayed in August, and there were signs in the list saying for July a lot of the wellness courses were free (yoga, Pilates etc). The normal prices were quite high, so we didn’t take part. However in our last few days, the signs were changed to say the courses were also free in August, so we could have taken part if we had wanted - was sad to miss this opportunity. We also turned up for one of the classes and they said we should have booked the day before, despite the signs not mentioning this. Thankfully the teacher agreed to do the class at late notice. Overall it is just not slickly run unfortunately.

Cleaning was hit and miss, there was no bin in my room, which was very strange - I had to take my rubbish to the bin in the gym. One time I came back to the room and the bathroom light was on (I had left it off) and someone had clearly used my toilet (not me!). Never any shampoo or towels in the spa area. The worst thing was that on the day I arrived after an early morning start for my flight, my room wasn’t ready to check into - that’s ok, I totally understand. However, when I said I would just sit by the pool for the 1h30m I had to wait, the receptionist said she would have to charge me €15 for the privilege (even though I was checking in that day and would be charged the spa tax for that night of my stay anyway). This was just such an unfriendly welcome and gave me the feeling I was being taken advantage of from the start. I’ve never experienced this at another hotel.

This hotel is so disorganised. On several days we received no cleaning and no clean towels. I would ask at reception and they would say someone would come tomorrow and then the same thing would happen again. The water kept getting turned off at random times like 9am or 6pm, just when many people want to shower. You couldn’t get drinking water or wash. During the whole stay, every shampoo dispenser remained empty in the whole spa area. Drinks would remain uncollected around the pool for days on end. The breakfast was ok but I’ve had much better elsewhere in Austria. Some of the staff were a bit useless and not very helpful, eg unable to recommend a hike (it’s the main thing to do). The hotel has great potential if it is run better don’t think it was worth the money at the moment unfortunately.

Beautiful setting, lovely views from the outdoor pool, spacious room (even the economy rooms), comfy bed, the lady cooking fresh omelettes at breakfast was friendly and made a great omelette. The young blonde receptionist (I think she could speak Russian) was also very nice

In one word: overpriced. For this amount, we would have expected more generous services, e.g. breakfast was below average for the first couple of days (then started to improve I must add), parking was chaotic and frustrating the least to say, the staff was polite, but far from kind, TV in the room was from 5 years ago (yes, I know, one does not go there for watching TV, but for this money, I expect at least a smart TV with streaming options), bathrobes are not included in this price (!), the hotel could not suggest any hiking ideas nor had any booklets about these options (!), etc. All in all, it is a nice hotel, just overpriced and lacking traditional, Austrian hospitality that we had elsewhere.

The hotel was easy to find, a good location in Seefeld. The room was spacious and clean, probably refurbished not so long ago. The pool and the wellness facilities are nice, it was good to dip in the whirlpool after a whole day of hiking.

The hotel is old and is in need of renovation. The hotel room was not clean and the bedsheets were rough. The breakfast was incredibly limited and not worth the cost.

Check in and check out takes a very long time. Too much time consumed for entering information into system and paperwork.
