there is a noise from the trains, for whom are light sleeping, the train will wake you up but the hotel provide ear plugs in the room

Beautiful room, beautiful views and the loveliest people. I stayed 3 nights and will be back. The hotel is in the perfect location - overlooking the lake and a very short walk from the train station. Whilst the train line runs along the lakefront with the exception of a good train a couple of times a day I wasn’t disturbed by the noise - I actually liked sitting and watching the trains go by in addition to enjoying watching life on the lake. The hotel also provides a Summer Card which was brilliant - free local public transport, free boat trip round the lake and free lifts to the top of nearby mountains - such a bonus to have. Thank you Hotel Seehof for the loveliest few days.

We cannot think of any cons other than the parking lot was a little tough to get out of. Can't complain too much, it was free!

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in the beginning of May. The staff were all so very nice and helpful in provided ideas on what to do and what NOT to do. We stayed during off season, so not everything was open. We easily walked to restaurants and shops. We stayed in the double room overlooking the lake. The room was super comfortable with a pretty view of the lake. We hardly even heard the trains, and thought it was pretty cool to see them - something not seen in the states. The breakfast was delicious with so many options! We only left early because the weather was not supposed to be great in the coming days. We would highly recommend Hotel Seehof!

They don’t offer toiletries No air conditioning, so with open windows you can hear the train every 30 minutes approximately and cars noise

Take in mind that there is no AC. the only way to cool the room is with a door that is very close to the train track so it can get noisy

I wish the curtains would be darker or bigger. Because looking east, I woke up at approximately 5.45 in a pretty lit room. Also...They had a minor mishap. Some sensor broke down and we couldn't shower in the morning because of lack of warm water. But that can't be a regular occurrence so no harm there. They did give a little discount because of it.

It would’ve been great to have bar/restaurant available but I think it was between seasons so not open. The advantage was that we had freedom to choose where we went and the hotel was so central we didn’t have far to go

It’s located near the train tracks , which most of the hotels are and they provide earplugs but we didn’t need them it wasn’t that bad during our stay.

The owners are really nice , the room is very clean , view is great and location is perfect. Also, the summer card was very useful for 80% of the activities which has saved us a good amount of money.
