Communication was brilliant from start to finish. We sent messages on a few occasions and always hot a reply. Staff allowed us to park our car at the hotel early for us to catch an uber into Salzburg centre. The room was available too early for us. The hotel is a little outdated but such a huge traditional hotel. The room was spacious with no balcony but the view was amazing and didn't disappoint. We decided to eat late at the hotel and the food was outstanding. We don't often choose beef but both dishes were cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. The staff in the restaurant were also friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately we had to leave early so couldn't stay for breakfast but if the evening meal was anything to go by then I'm sure it would have been delicious. The views from the hotel, restaurant and pool were beautiful and peaceful and only the sound of nature. Even the other residents were friendly.

There is a very steep walk to the bus stop not so bad on way down but not great going up. View from the room was another building so not the best

It was a lovely hotel outside of salzburg. Easy to drive to, good parking, friendly reception. We didn't get to eat at the restaurant as it was closed on days we were there but the bar was great. Breakfast was good, the room was a little small (standard room) and you could hear your neighbours easily.

For a 3 star hotel I feel everything was great.

The location of the hotel is nowhere near the city centre but the view you get from the top of the hill is breathtaking. The staff is very friendly and the highlight for me was the breakfast.

We knew that the hotel was out of the city but the receptionist said we could catch the tram. We did but it didnt go into the city, we had to ask passenger where to get off and change. Yes, its avery steep hill to walk up. We had booked a double room but two single beds pushed together is not a double room. The whole hotel is dated and needs a refurb, woodchip was so 1970s..! Lots of wood and brown furniture but thats typical Austrian i suppose. Lots of stairs... Taxi back is approx 20 euros

we were on third floor and no elevator going up and dont get any help to carry your luggage up. so if you have a problem with that then it can be troublesome.

While the bathroom was very clean overall, the WC could have done with a bit more cleaning. This is, however, a minor detail in an otherwise great stay at this hotel.

The view was beautiful, despite the rain, the room was very comfortable and airy, and the breakfast was excellent. The service at the reception and restaurant (during dinner) was also excellent and friendly. The hotel is close enough to the city centre and is a perfect location for a visit to Salzburg.

Wonderful place, with amazing view, delicious food in restaurant and perfect breakfast. Not far from Salzburg and all famous places. The room was without balcony, but we asked to change, we paid extra for it, but it was best decision.To sit at balcony when is sunset was really lovely:)

We liked everything. The only drawback would be is that we had to drive into town and pay for parking.

The view is spectacular! The beds are comfortable. We also enjoyed a common room to visit and have a glass of wine together. We were warmly welcomed by Corina. We were thankful for the use of the hotel umbrellas.

The hotel is set on a hill overlooking much of Salzburg and provides an excellent view of its setting with mountains beyond. The staff were very welcoming and helpful (and had very good English).

Wonderful view over Salzburg. Meadows in front of hotel. Sat on terrace to eat drink and relax. Staff friendly. Bag carried up to bedroom for us. Nice breakfast.
