There was mold in the corners of the shower (which was treatable with bleach in my opinion).

We liked the view and the feeling of old castle. Also, having breakfast on the porch was really nice. The U-bahn station at Ottakring was easily reachable by bus (both lines, they go the same route, just opposite directions). There is a lot of parking spaces, so you don't have to worry about it. Breakfast was standard, nothing exquisite. Only problems were bees/vasps, the porch was flooded with them, they were hoovering over tables and inside in jams and honey dishes, but I don't think that's something the staff can influence. Doors to porch were open, people were constantly going in and out, so that's out of their power.

The rooms could use an update and the standard room was a little tight. The room was clean overall, but the bathroom shower could use a proper scrub.

It was a great location for those wishing to have a little reprieve form the busy city centre. The location is next to parks and green spaces with access to nearby forest. Getting downtown is super simple, with a bus right outside the hotel which connects you to the underground (U3) with direct connection downtown. The full trip is about 30 minutes to get to the city centre. The staff was also super friendly and helpful when we had questions about where to go and what to see.

The property has a lot of character. On top of a hill, the view from my room was amazing! The room was ok and the breakfast was excellent, again with a wonderful view of the city. Reception was nice and helpful. I had no problem with parking. Not sure about the location, as I was by car and for me it was not a problem. The only small issue for me was the mid summer heat. Being a historical property, there was no a/c and the room it was really hot, even with the 2 fans provided. But I still recommend this hotel and I look forward to visit it again, specially in cooler seasons.

The room was quite dusty, we could tell it had not been properly cleaned beforehand. We had wasps all over us at breakfast. They were on the terrace and even found their way inside, in the restaurant. It was very annoying and it’s a matter that should be adressed promptly.

The property is absolutely stunning and well-kept. The staff is polite. Our room was spacious, overlooking Vienna. The breakfast was delicious. I’m a vegetarian and had plenty of choices, which I highly appreciated. The bus station is right in front of the hotel and it makes travelling so much easier.

It was an incredibly hot summer and the fan in our room didn't work. We were able to replace it with one that did work and that helped quite a bit, but additional cooling measure would be nice.

Our loft style room was perfect for the four of us. The windows overlook the beautiful grounds, and motivated us to go out and walk around. The breakfast was out of the world, everyone was happy with the selections. Best of all, the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We would absolutely love to stay here again.

The temperature during our stay was ~35 celcius. It was not posible to rest during the night because there are no air conditioning.

The hotel shows his age, the rooms are in need of some renovations, the furniture has seen some better days. No AC, that was hard on a 35 degree C heat wave. But for the price more than we expected.

Even if it is a great breakfast you will find the wasps very annoying. No wi-fi available in the room (105), maybe was too far from the lobby or something. Small bathroom without a door insulation therefore no privacy.

Location is great. Many free parking places. Clean rooms at a good price for this city. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Good connection with city center.
