Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SingaporeNothing except the curtains in the room didn't cover the whole window. The bright light as early as 5am woke us up.
Good and quiet location, about 5 mins' walk from Salzburg main station. Room is clean and has a kettle. The hotel lift is a welcome sight too. Special mention to the friendly Michala who gave us much recommendations on places to visit, dinner and even the bus services to Old Town where the bus stop is round the corner of hotel, save us from walking 25 mins back and forth during our 3 days' stay.

IsraelThe bathroom was a bit small, with the toilet located too close to the shower. Wasn't a problem for me, but could be an issue for some people.
Very nice and cozy family-owned hotel. The location is perfect - only 5 minutes walk from the train station and then the rest of Salzburg is easily accessible, it takes 10-15 minutes walk to reach the riverside. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was wonderful, better then I had in 4-star chain hotels. The room was nice and quiet, with all the amenities (and a kettle. I like the kettle because I drink a lot of tea)

Singaporewe were told that we are entitled to breakfast the next morning upon our check in. the next day, however when we were already picking food at the bfast station, we were subsequently told that our stay doesn’t come with free breakfast and so we had to pay extra for it. we felt that the staff had opportunities earlier to inform us or clarify about the bfast but didn’t do so.

United States2 of my 3 nights I had to chase bees/flies/insects from my room. Apparently the cleaning lady had left the window open but pulled the curtain so I didn’t know. One of the receptionist told me to deal with the bees myself before I asked to talk to the manager. The other receptionist was very polite but the male one was rude.

CanadaThe hotel was exactly what we needed it to be; a place to sleep that was close to all of the areas we needed to be. The hotel was a 20-minute walk to Old Town, a 5-minute walk to the train station and a 10-minute walk to Mirabel Palace where we picked up 4 tours (Sound of Music, Hallstatt, Eagle's Nest and Salt Mines). It's close to everything you need and the amenities are fine. It is a bit pricey, but so are all hotels in Salzburg. It's a city of 150,000 people that receives like 10 million tourists per year.
