Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe decor could use a little updating. The cost of the breakfast is prohibitive. I would prefer a kettle and tea/coffee-making facilities in the bedrom.
The room was very spacious and comfortable. Air conditioning was excellent and welcome. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel felt very safe. Location was very good.

Czech RepublicHotel Rathaus was just amazing. Room was so nice situation and clean. Bad was so comfort. Breakfast was so good and tasty. Lokality was so safe and near to interesting places to visit. CroatiaThe shower door was loose on the hinges, so I couldn't close it all the way which caused water to leak outside the shower. Breakfast selection is somewhat small, with not too many options.
The hotel is situated in an older building with high ceilings and narrow, winding staircase, but is equipped with a small elevator. The bed was comfy and the room had all needed amenities. The check out time is 12 which is great as you can utilize your morning to the fullest before leaving the hotel. All members of staff were kind and helpful.

United KingdomThe WiFi is just OK. And the issue with room temperature being too hot or too cold can't really be solved due to the system used. More power points are missing in the rooms - for laptop, smart phone etc.
This has been a favourite hotel of mine in Vienna for several years. The rooms are spacious, the location is prime, the staff knowledge, the breakfast plentiful, and the rooms quiet enough (except when there is movement outside the door of the room). They also try to be more sustainable.
