Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomYou have to be comfortable with the chance of seeing each other naked as the shower is separate and opens straight into the hallway, plus the sliding door has a gap. It's also very slippery. No mirrors in bedroom.
Furnishings, bedding, art, spacious living area. Handy location for two U lines. Good to have dual sinks and a separate toilet with basin. Good coffee, with extra free capsules available from launderette.

SingaporeUpon arrival, I found out that the apartment that I was given did not have a washing machine in the unit. I was disappointed because this was not what I had wanted to book. However, the host was responsive. The matter was resolved rather quickly and all done via email. I was rather impressed.
1. Luxurious and modern furnishings. 2. Little touches that made a difference eg coffee machine, tea bags, paper towels, soft toilet paper, blankets on couches, two TVs (one in the living room and the other in the main bedroom) 3. Location is rather good with nearby bakeries. 4. Comfortable stay. 5. Responsive host.

United KingdomIt would have been useful if the apartment information had warned us mini markets were closed on Sundays. Plenty of options available nearby but not open on Sundays. Luckily a bakery up the road had some milk for the morning.
Apartment was well equipped and great to have a second bedroom in addition to a comfortable living area. Loved being able to get fresh pastries and coffee in the morning virtually on your doorstep. Really convenient location with main tourist attractions easily accessible on foot, via tram and tube.

GermanyThe only thing that bothered me was basically the missing sink next to the toilet. So whenever you used the toilet, you had to walk to the bathroom to wash your hands. That’s a minor flaw though. Having salt in the kitchen would have been great, since it’s a thing you can only buy in bulks and you need so little. So would be great to provide it.
Excellent apartment. It was perfect for our family. Especially having 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet was amazing. Everything was in walking distance: city center, metro stations, supermarkets etc. We had a great time in Vienna and could properly rest there!

GreeceEverything was good! Can't say I have anything to complain, maybe perhaps that the location is not so central, but I can't complain about that considering the price they charge!
The room was exceptional, especially considering the price they charge. It was very clean, comfy, nicely decorated, and with all the amenities provided. The view was really nice and we didn't think anything was missing. Outside the room, there was a gym we could use free of charge as well some other small amenities like free coffee etc. Really great experience and really great room! I would definitely recommend it.

United StatesI was quite surprised that there were two bathrooms as advertised but only one toilet in a separate room. This was inconvenient for 5 people and should have been disclosed in the listing. I may have chosen a different property if I had known about this.
The apartment was roomy and very nicely decorated. Well equipped kitchen.
