Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location from where you can easily access the center of Vienna. It is located in a beautiful place and great for a short stay to enjoy Vienna. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it had all the necessary equipment.

The stuff was very nice and welcoming. Both the hotel and the room were clean and tidy. My persona preference is in a little bit stiffer pillows and mattress, but my SO said it was perfect for her.

SpainThe elevator was located after a short flight of stairs which wasn't a problem for us but could be for someone with reduced mobility. Our room was unfortunately situated in a way that was hit by the sun in the morning and in summer it made the room extremely hot, although the room had a fan that helped a bit.

United KingdomWe found the accommodation difficult to find, we drove around the block a couple of times before we found it. No air conditioning but our room was lovely and high up so we left the window wide open overnight as the weather was warm. The fan was much appreciated.
I liked the comfy and immaculately clean room. The friendly and helpful staff, and the fresh, tasty breakfast. Parking was easy, for a big city, and much appreciated. Easy to get into old town by walking (about half an hour) and then underground train on the way home. The station being quite close to the accommodation. We only stayed one night but I would definitely return another time.

ArgentinaTwo things: one of the days they forgot to do the cleaning service and change the towels. We complained and they did it. Also, the left side of the mattress was not in good condition. We complained but they did not resolve it
The location, parking and breakfast were what we valued most about our stay. We recommend the hotel. We traveled by car one weekend and left it in the parking lot and walked around the city. It is surrounded by many restaurants within walking distance, as well as many shops.

RomaniaWe stay here many years ago, but we had exactly the same very good experience. Room was clean, no AC but a fan; breakfast with everything, much more than 3 star; location is one of the best, near metro station, shopping street, restaurants. Parking place is quite strange, but very useful - you have to enter through a gate and leave your key to reception, so they can move the cars like puzzle, but no stress, they are really professionals.
