A fridge in our room would have been great, even better a kettle for night time drinks.

A lovely German lady runs this Pension; she was very helpful with brochures and maps of the area. Nice room with a view of the cable cars going up the mountain. Out of the hustle and bustle.Close to bars and restaurants. Regular buses nearby go into Salzburg every 20 mins. Buses take between 12 and 40 mins, depending on which one you catch. Easy drive into city. Great breakfast was included, to start our day. Plenty of parking.

It could do with some extra lighting by the bed for reading. Also, a coffee making facilities in the room would be nice.

We had an amazing stay in Pension Bergfried. The host is really friendly and accommodating and knows a lot about what to do in the area. The pension is located in a beautiful area with a lovely view and the bus to Salzburg is really close by. The centre of Grodig has a couple of really nice places to eat and grab a drink. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Bed wasnt comfortable, matrasse is too soft. Only one power outlet in the room at inconvinient location.

The apartment is very-well located near Salzburg it takes only 10-15 minutes to city. The hosts are really kind they cleaned the room every day and brought fresh water and soap. The breakfast was good and the fresh coffee was perfect:) The view from the balcony is amazing and the fresh air makes the view of the mountains extraordinary. We were there for 4 nights and were amazed. Recommended!!

Beautiful Mountain View, it was breathtaking. Great breakfast with coffee made to order. Wonderful host who suggested the Salzburg day pass which saved us a bunch of money (can be purchased at hotel). Easy bus ride to downtown, saved us from having to pay and find parking. Great restaurants within walking distance. Parking at hotel free and easy.

Clean room, polite and helpful host, good breakfast, stunning view from the balcony There is a parking with a lot of free spots. 30 min by bus to Salzburg center. The bus stop is 5 min from the pension. Perfect place :)

Since there are no restaurants close by, it would have been nice to have an electric teapot and some teabags in the entry for when you return to the house in the evening or night.

The house was charming and very clean. The woman who ran the house was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Located about 1/2 hour outside of Salzburg, the first night was a bit of an adventure getting there by bus but we got used to it and it was quite convenient. The bus tickets are good for 24 hours so you can go and return with the same ticket and travel all around Salzburg.

Attention, the cable car is not running in November, maintenance is in progress! Bring the cash with you.

Wonderful location, the majestic mountain Untersberg rising above the pension; a short walk to the bus to Salzburg and the cable car; quiet, peaceful place, at night it is very dark.

Furniture was a bit old fashion.

Very beautiful view from balcony. Free parking, nice home owner, good breakfast, tasty coffee. Free water bottle in room. There was shampoo and other stuff in shower.
