Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesBiggest complaint was just a bad smell in the old carpeted hallway leading to our room. Smelled like urine? Also, we were told there was parking in the hotel but could not get it when we arrived. It was a big hassle to get to the parking garage, very expensive, and we ran into problems getting our car out later.
Location was great, just a quick trip "under the mountain" to reach the Old Town area. Felt very safe. Also, breakfast was good, small but some variety.

RomaniaThe room wasn’t ready when we arrived even though checkin began two hours earlier. The extra cot given for our son was broken. The front desk did offer to resolve the situation immediately. The bathroom walls seemed unclean even though the sink, bath and toilet were clean.
Helpful and friendly staff who took the extra effort to take care of extra requests such as microwaving some food. The location is very good for exploring the old part of the city. The breakfast was good.

FranceThe staff on the day of our check-in was very cold. No smiles, no greetings, nothing. She was very not helpful and just seemed to hate her job. The other lady during check-out however was lovely.
The location is very perfect, only a couple of minutes by foot to the city centre. We also found the room to be modern and quite spacious for the price.

United KingdomWe found it frustrating that there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. If you wanted a coffee you had to go to reception and they could get you one from the breakfast bar, but as we were on the 4th floor it was too much hassle. They do have a bar there, but it was either not open or you could only have a bottle of beer or a wine which had to be served by the person on reception so it was not ideal. People were hanging about waiting for her to finish her work on the counter before serving the limited drinks in the bar on a Friday night so it was hard for her too, and it was not her fault!
Hotel is in a great location to visit all the major sights on foot. Staff very helpful, room was clean although some items were a little tired and some stains on carpet. No shampoo supplied just generic shower gel, but a nice little kit with nail file and sewing kit was a nice touch.
