Rooms must be cleaned up. Pillows are way too soft so bad sleep in general for those who do not like. Breakfast choice is good but small buffet room was really crowded.

In the villa I stayed in, you can hear everything from the next room. The towels have also had a long "working life", but they were clean, and that is what is most important.

I didn't have very high expectations, judging by the comments of the visitors. So I was somewhat positively surprised. The room was clean. The breakfast was nothing special, but you could easily find what suited you. A big plus in my case was the fact that breakfast was available from 6 am onwards, as I went a couple of times to ski resorts that were a bit further away. It's also a good thing that there's plenty of parking for hotel guests around the hotel, and there's an underground garage, which comes in handy in winter, as you don't have to clean the your icy car in the morning. The staff was very friendly and competent. The price of the hotel is not very high compared to other hotels in this part of Austria.

Großglocknerstraße was wery noisy. A lot of motorcyclists were passing by.

Nice place were to stay overnight before going to cross Großglockner pass.

Reception lady acted surprised and annoyed that I had arrived. Then asked me if I had 'just booked' (I hadnt, i had booked in the morning). Maybe it was a language misunderstanding. But not a very welcoming checkin experience. Also, asked for a 'peaceful room upstairs' (for which I got a confirmation from booking.com), but then when I arrived, I got a room in a building down the road about 100m and . . . .downstairs in the basement! Anyway, it was indeed peaceful so worked out in the end, was just annoying.

Postiive experience, mostly. Clean and functional room (w a bath!). Everything worked. Good location close to start of Grossglockner strasse. Breakfast was good w eggs n bacon. Internet worked and was fast.

Somewhat tired 19th century hotel. Breakfast - stained tablecloths, poor quality coffee automat. stale bread with no tongs so people handled it, clear your own table. Room hairdryer not working. Less quality hotel - more YHA. You get what you pay for.

Breakfast is awful - the cheapest "Koenigsemmel" with cheapest Salami and cheapest Cheese. Coffee was crap (could not drink at all), "juice" from the machine was crap. Mattress is too hard and the pillows are too thin.

Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom in the room is in a good condition. Location is perfect, in the middle of a town and just in about 10-15 driving minutes from Grossglockner. Garage for a motorcycle (though it's opened and not secured). Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant by the hotel is nice and provided a very nice and tasty dinner on the terrace outside (not included in the booking, obv.).

The location in the town was great. The hotel has a real authentic feel to it. The town itself does not have a lot to offer but the location is close to train station and bus stops whereby other locations are easily reachable

In bathroom, shower did not had a door. So all water from shower was going outside leaving bathroom wet.

I made a reservation for a double/ family room. The queen size bed was comfortable but the other was a sofa cum bed. It was very hard/uncomfortable. Highly recommended that when you get the room please make sure to check the beds.

The hotel is at a very good location. Almost 10 mins drive from zee alm see. The rooms are nice and big and WC/shower facilities are also nice. The breakfast is also nice . Good feel of the core Austrian culture. There is also free parking available around the hotel.

Traditional hotel, beautiful location in small town at the beginning of Hochalpenstrasse. Lovely sitting areas for guests, halls and meeting rooms with original, historical furniture.

Breakfast was uninteresting food, though there was some fresh fruit. Service was intermittent, so food like bread and eggs simply ran out for a while.
