Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

RomaniaI feel that for the paid price the hotel room could be more modern than just refurbished or kept in good shape. One thing that was surprising is that over the weekend the hotel doesn't collaborate with a cleaning company that is open, therefore you need to plan your laundry hand-over. I think that nowadays for a 4 star hotel this is surprising especially because of the tourists doing city breaks.
The breakfast buffet is really great with a wide selection of milk & cornflakes, fresh bread, salty as well as sweet options. For us the big bonus were the fresh orange juice machine as well as the juicer where you could make a fresh juice of carrots, beetroot, apple and other fruits and vegetables. Really big compliment for the breakfast as it's been a long time since I haven't seen such a rich buffet. Another plus was that there was cleaning staff for extended times, so even if we left the room at 2 p.m. they still went in an cleaned.

United StatesThe lighting was dim in areas that needed more lighting! I absolutely HATED that there was no phone in the room, but next to the elevator—how STUPID. What if you had an emergency and need the front desk. It is ignorant to think we could call on our cell phone—like you have the number. For the price you pay, there should be a phone in the room!
Location for price was good. The staff were excellent and were a big help as I had a mixup with luggage. Really the staff was excellent.

BelgiumI chose the hotel due to the location next to Belvedere, which was good. Karlsplatz is also easily reachable. Having said that, I realized the walk to downtown took longer than I thought. Next time I might try to stay directly in the District 1. The room was also a bit anonymous, with not a lot of character/charm.
Good hotel overall - I am not a big fan of the chain hotels that tend to look the same everywhere, and this one is a rather modern building - when you are in your room, you could be in Vienna, Cairo or Los Angeles, and you would not notice the difference. Having said that, the hotel is comfortable, pleasant, the breakfast was excellent, and the location is great next to the Belvedere!
