Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything! It’s a 10 minute walk to the Vienna Opera House, close enough but far enough away from the noise and crowds. A beautiful old building with exceptional decor and comfort. The room was spacious and the staff were friendly.

United KingdomIf I was being picky, the body soap dispenser in the shower was empty but not a big deal as there was plenty of soaps around.. Also on giving the above feedback to the hotel they emailed me to say that they will get that sorted.
Beautiful hotel, we stayed in the junior suite with two kids, there was plenty of space to run around, bathroom quite spacious and had a special jungle soap for the kids. The chocolates they left on the bed tasted excellent. Pictures do not really do justice to the place. Breakfast was exceptional !

GermanyBe good to include bathrobes and slippers in room, so when going to the fitness/ steam room area you are prepared 😀. Also we came down for breakfast just b4 10 and many of the popular offerings were already finished, staff not topping up those dishes. Unfortunate for us.
Simply divine, from warm welcome at front desk, large room with windows we could open. Felt very spoilt, steam room and sauna a treat. Breakfast had a wide variety, even if we missed on fruit and pancakes.

BrazilSome people in the staff were not so welcoming, arguing about small things such as when I let them know that the location at google was wrong and the taxi had a hard time finding the hotel (and the guy insisted I was wrong about it and complained that I got my phone to show him) or when two of us arrived at breakfast as asked for a table of 4 since two friends were joining us and they insisted us to sit at a two-people table instead although the room had several other tables available. Not sure what was the reasoning, but it almost spoiled the experience there... Fortunately, others were kind and helpful. The gym is super simple (we gave up exercising there) and the sauna was not working when we stayed there.
Great breakfast with several options and great hot chocolate and coffee. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean as expected. It is close to main attractions, but far enough to be out of the tourist confusion.

IndiaSince there is no air-conditioning, it can become very warm in summers (which is when we were there). The ventilation system is not adequate for extreme temperatures. Also, the room service menu could have more items, especially since there is no restaurant available for lunch and dinner.
The location was very good and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is certainly value for money.
