Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomOur room was next to the kitchen so there was noise early in the morning with trolleys etc. Otherwise perfect for a short break.
The room was clean and well designed with a separate bathroom/dressing area. The location was on the Main Street, easy to find and close to public transport. We walked to most places. The staff were super friendly and helpful with advice on where to eat etc.

CanadaThe room lacked a lot of basic amenities like writing material/pen, no clothing storage (no shelves or drawers— or even a luggage rack!). It could also use a rack or hooks for towels. These are pretty basic at most hotels! Staff also entered room to clean unexpectedly prior to checkout; which was contrary to advertized and whst was stated by staff.

Great staff, very kind. They lend us umbrellas, since it was pouring rain (10€ rent, this way you don’t need to buy in umbrella for your stay, nicely done 👍🏻 There’s an 24h bar, but in the room there’s absolutely no noise. There’s always coffee and courtesy scented water (citrus and rosemary).

IsraelThere was a problem with the app they sent us to use in order to get into the hotel. Also there was a problem with the elevator at the time of our stay.
The hotel staff were very nice. We arrived late at night and we found a generous bouffe waiting for us at the lobby for free. The rooms were clean and elegant and had everything we needed. Location is super with shops and restaurants near by.

United KingdomThese things did not spoil my stay... but they could be improved. - It would be good to have thicker curtains; these ones do not block the light enough. - WiFi signal seemed strong... but the throughput was disappointing. I had to use my phone roaming. - Breakfast seemed high quality but selection was small and quite carb/fruit heavy. Not to my taste; would have liked to see more protein at the price. I chose to eat elsewhere.
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location is great, and the design and build is high quality. The staff were friendly, both at check in and at other times... the free coffee was very welcome. The room size was OK for a couple of days; the bathroom quite large and well fitted. Security seemed good. I'd stay here again, and recommend the hotel.

lovely stylish boutique hotel in the heart of shopping street Mariahilfer. The staff was so heartbeating friendly , that we catched this hotel athmosphere just entering. we came to the acdc concert , and the lady at reception kindly helped us in our questions. The design is really unique, neon look effect with a giant vienna projector slowly moving city drone videos .(never seen elsewhere in the world, no 1 in hotel design) The room was perfect, the bed was just right hardness we like. The breakfast was so perfecto, and fresh fruits made me very happy. The coffemachine was also perfect, and made a real capuccino, we tested a vienna cocoa cake nearby the coffemachine offered all the day, , was heavenly. And the breakfast service lady was also very kind and smiled a lot all the time , even she worked hard. All the time we felt this different unique schani hotel feeling. we will come back always when in Vienna.
