Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

The location The kids facilities in the farm. The kids could help with the animals. The ' Bregenzerwald guest card' whereby the use of bus, car cable and swimming pool was for free!

The farm was great fun and a neat learning experience. The animals were sweet and exciting to interact with. The animals are also special to the family and treated well. The family treated us so well too and were very kind and friendly. The apartment was very nice and met all our needs. Wi-fi worked well in the apartment and on the balcony. Balcony had a beautiful view of the mountains. There was a fantastic hike right in the town that took you along the river and was super nice if you want to hike for several hours - the Wasser Wander Weg hike. The ability to use the pool and cable cars and lifts for free all around the area if you book for at least three nights was a real bonus that we enjoyed. Took hikes high up in the mountains with incredible panoramic views. Lake Konstanz was close by for a visit which was also beautiful. Many people staying at Haus Hagspiel brought their bikes and road them all over. We aslo got to know other people staying at Haus Hagspiel, and they were very friendly and most had been returning to Haus Hagspiel for many years. For us, getting to participate in the daily farm routine was really a treat that we loved. I highly recommend a stay here whether you want to partake in the farm part or not.

United StatesWe loved this property! It was such a joy to wake up to the view from our apartment each morning! The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and cleanup. The property owners were very friendly and accommmodating, especially since we checked in rather late. My husband and son truly enjoyed visiting with the owner as she completed her farm chores, and it was wonderful waking every morning to fresh bread delivered to our door (this was an additional price but so worth it)!
