Very few vegan options at breakfast although soya milk was provided. No air-conditioning but fan was provided. No conditioner.

Room simple and small but nice. Very groovy elevator. Superb location for Rathaus and parliament and tram. Pleasant staff.

Our first room smelt strongly of smoke because it was directly opposite the smoking area. However - we were able to change rooms the next day and that room was fine!

Breakfast in the lovely breakfast room! The Hotel was in a very quiet lane way and very easy walking distance to the centre.

Room was much too hot on arrival, due to heatwave. Good that window could be opened wide and they happily provided a fan next morning when I asked, but better if it had been in the room from the start. Not enough electric sockets. Could have done with a spoon to go with the kettle and cups!

Very good location. Friendly staff. Room comfortable, very clean, newly fitted out bathroom (with make up mirror!), decent breakfast with nice lot of fresh fruit. A special mention for the breakfast lady, nothing was ever in any danger of running out. And of course, the magnificent lift!

Very noisy from 4:30-8:30, trucks unloading and motorcycles, then garbage trucks, can’t close the window because room is too hot in late August.

My room stated it would have "city views", it did not, it had views of dirty net and pigeon wire and the side of the building. It was very hot but having the window open meant a lot of loud noise so sleeping was difficult.

The staff were very nice and the location was good (very near the 2 tram stop).

It was a bit noisy most mornings with dustcart and street cleaning. The double glazing would have probably kept out most of the noise as it seemed quite effective. It was so hot we had left the windows open. We knew it didn't have air conditioning so that was a choice we made.

Lovely hotel with period features. I loved the lift with a seat. The room was spacious with a seating area and small table. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty with scrambled eggs and sausage in addition to the vast contental selections. The staff spoke good English and the entry details for late arrival were good. It is centrally positioned for the Town Hall and Volksgarten. Felt very safe and good access to transport. Will be better when U2 underground extension is completed.Good value for money .

Beds could be more comfortable.

I loved the place and all the staff, they were very kind and always with smile on their faces. Breakfasts were perfect. The hotel is in the city center but still in a quite calm street which I really appreciate.

Considering the typical heat in July, it would have been beneficial to have air conditioning in the rooms. We requested a fan, which provided some relief while we were in the room.

We were delighted to discover a spacious and well-lit room on the second floor of the hotel. The staff at the reception was exceedingly cooperative and polite. Although the reception closed at 6 PM, everything was efficiently managed, and there were no issues whatsoever. The hotel's location is superb, just a single train stop away from the Parliament building, which can also be reached on foot in just 10 minutes. There are numerous restaurants and at least two shops conveniently located nearby. We enjoyed a satisfying breakfast with a variety of options that catered to different tastes. An intriguing feature of the hotel was its old-fashioned elevator, which added a unique charm to our stay.
