Just the desert

Excellent location, beautiful view from the terrace and from our room. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean with a balcony overlooking the mountains. Wide range of food options both at breakfast and dinner. Vegan/vegetation option as well. Bio juice in the morning made my day😁. The service was excellent, staff very friendly, went above and beyond for making our stay special. There are sauna, steam room, herbal sauna for relaxation after all day hiking and the local swimming pool was a cherry on the top. This hotel has got everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Compare to 5* hotels where we have been stayed previously, this hotel with its 4* star provided much more.

The only thing we could have wished for was a refrigerator, but given the food was great we didn’t really need it. Other than that, WiFi was great, we had a huge bathtub, great views, great beds, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice hotel, the staff was great and the food as well. Quiet and peaceful. The area is a bit off, but it was perfect for us that wanted to walk around. The Swimmingpool area is 5 mins walk away and had both a good pool, a water slide, some green grass with shade and great prices for lunch (3-9 euros for Pommes or Pommes/nuggets). Dinner was really nice, a good variation and well tasting. Do take a hike up to Gamshütte over the day, it was amazing, especially with rain and heavy thunder, quite the experience. Been to Austria a few times before but this hotel was really our favourite so far.

Food was ok, but nothing special (dinner), breakfast was good but could be longer than 10 a.m. A/C is missing. Window net also be nice, we have a lot of bug inside without covering the balcon door by hangings.

Nice view from restaurant’s terrace, comfortable bed, big room, walk-in shower. We really like to have a dinner on the terrace even if was rainy (the part of terrace is covered). Staff was super nice.

An extraordinary location. I had a room with an incredible view, very comfortable. The restaurant serves a special menu, both breakfast, very varied, and dinner. The preparations are special, the service impeccable. The chef of the location deserves all the praise.

Very big room (family room) Beautiful view, good location, very close to the ski station. Very good food, breakfast, and dinner. Very clean, very good facilities, spa etc. Convenient parking and ski room.

Very minor points only. The hotel is a kept a bit warm for my personal taste. I would have liked a larger towel in the bathroom. Other than that, nothing I wouldn’t recommend the hotel for.

Staff excellent - efficient and friendly. Food very good and good choices - half board option good value. All the facilities I wanted and great location. Room was of a good standard and spotless. Plenty of room for two guests.

The staff welcomed us with a big smile and helped us with any question or problem. The view of the valley can be seen from the window. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and the dinner was excellent, a salad and soup bar, a main course and a dessert that changed every day. There are individual lockers for ski equipment, and the bus brings you to the cable car in 2 minutes. There is no doubt that we will come back!

I'm not a fan of bathtub pretending to be shower - would rather have shower in the room. Absolutely horrible Wifi that was barely usable - it's super easy to fix, so hopefully this amazing hotel will upgrade it soon..

Fantastic location with an amazing view, and great breakfasts and dinners. Very friendly staff. Gym equipment was the best from dozen of hotels all over the world where I tried to use gym. EV charging stations. We stayed in on the rooms before refurbishment, but it was great too.

Sofa bed might have been better. This is usual issue. It would be better to put a regular bed because no one actually uses sofa as it is.

From the warm welcome on arrival to our sad farewell, we all had a wonderful stay. The management and staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was both plentiful and delicious with a different main course and dessert every evening. Excellent service too from the bar staff! We had a lovely room with balcony enjoying a stunning view down the valley to Mayrhofen. The hotel's position certainly justifies its name - View! Although the hotel is a short distance out of the village, there is an excellent minibus service to and from the gondola station and the hotel has its own ski hire shop and can issue lift passes. We had a wonderful holiday and are looking forward to the next time!
