The hotel is very good and the location is excellent. But on August 17, it rained a lot in this area. And the hotel is at a short distance from the station. That's why I had to take a lot of trouble to reach it. But the cleanliness and facilities of the hotel and the breakfast was excellent. The host is also very nice and cooperative

In one of our rooms, on the balcony, there was a hornet nest, but since they are protected under the law, nothing could be done about it

The location is amazing, the hotel is very clean and beautiful, the view on the lake is amazing. The personnel were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant and food in general were definitely the highlights alongside the private pear.

The single room is too small and bathroom provided as well.

The Double room was spacious with a small balcony . On first floor there isn’t much view of the lake ahead. The breakfast restaurant is the main highlight of this Hotel with an amazing view and food served on the table. Free parking is definitely an advantage.

We loved our stay at Der Erlhof Restaurant & Landhotel. I travelled with my mum and 7 year old son. We only stayed for one night when travelling by interrail. But we all said we have to come back one day and stay longer. The room was clean, cosy and a lot of space. Very quiet and peaceful. Bed was comfortable. The room also had a big balcony. We had a reservation at the restaurant and we loved the food, delicious dessert. Breakfast was good with nice panorama view. Best of all, we went to the sea in the evening to swim. It was just magic, so beautiful surroundings. Memory for life. When travelling by train you have to take a bus to Thumersbach and then walk for about 20 minutes. But I don’t think It was a problem. You pay on the bus and then It’s easy to walk, sidewalk next to the road all way.

The weather, not their fault of course.

We had a room looking out over the lake. It had everything we needed. It was good to have private access to the lake. The daughter of the family spoke perfect English and was very friendly. Also the breakfast assistant on the last morning also spoke very good English which helps so much. Good breakfast buffet, especially liked the Bircher Museli. Lovely food in the restaurant in the evening. Even accommodating our smaller appetite on one evening due to feeling unwell.

Very nice restaurant but expensive and nothing on the menu that was simple and cheap to eat. There was no where else to eat or drink within easy walking distance. Tiny narrow bed. WC was amusing with a mauve light underneath and the lid opened as you approached!

Lovely views of the lake and comfortable room. I had a room in the ' very modern annexe' which had a door onto a little patio with table and chairs. Very good underground parking.

A one night stopover for us but it was absolutely amazing to stay here even for a short time. Rooms were lovely. The staff were incredible welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We also went to the restaurant which was 10/10

There was a continuous low-level hum from nearby equipment, maybe the air-conditioning or pump for a fish tank.

The location wasn’t the best in terms of finding other food options, but it wasn’t as busy as the other side of the lake, so that was a pro.

The views were unbeatable! I felt like a queen. The rooms were so spacious, the deck was phenomenal, the bed was so comfy, the showers amazing. No complaints!

The location is not accessible by public transportation. Only available options are taxi or walking (which is 1hour far away from Zell am See Bahnhof

I could not believe how lovely this hotel really is. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was in a single en suite room which was amazingly stylish and well-designed. I loved everything about my stay here and would definitely use the hotel again in the future.

Just the room, which needed up-dating. Dinner was rather expensive

The room and bathroom were large and very comfortable, but rather dated. Breakfast was taken in the new part, which we would probably have preferred to stay in. It was very good with quality ingredients served - but we aren't big breakfast eaters!
