Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicI can't think of any.
Very comfortable hotel by the river, a short walk from the city centre. I didn't have a room with a view of the mountains, but the breakfast room offers that view and it was absolutely fabulous to have breakfast while looking at the beautiful scenery. The breakfast was very rich and satisfying. There are blackout curtains in the rooms and the place where the hotel is located is very quiet, so you won't be disturbed. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend it!

United KingdomWe were originally placed in an annex building about 5 minute walk up the street. Although the room was fine, there was no view and no atmosphere. Asked to move into the hotel itself. This was much better for us; however the owner was clearly not happy with us and it showed for the remainder of our stay. When booking this hotel, I believe it should be made clear where your room will be, and the option to choose the lovely original hotel building should be possible. Breakfast was ok, but after two mornings eating the same limited offerings, we wouldn’t have took breakfast again.
Lovely old original hotel building. Once moved into the main building, we had a lovely room with fabulous views of the snowy mountains. Free parking was a bonus.

United KingdomThe rooms were warm and would benefit from aircon. Having a window open meant noise from the road outside the hotel. It would be very different in winter I presume.

United KingdomIt was a pity that the car could not be parked closer but that did not cause us a problem. I was very happy with the security and large space for my car - not always the case with underground car parks.
A very friendly family hotel. Everything was clean and tidy in a reasonable-sized room. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Good secure underground parking, though that was a 3 minute walk from the hotel itself. Easy walk into the old city centre (about 10 minutes) and even late at night it felt very safe there. Lots of eateries nearby and the old city centre can occupy you easily for several days. Also conveniently located for taking the train up to the Hungerburg - the station is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

Centrally located just across a foot bridge from Hofgarten and old town. Modern rooms (we were in the annex a short walk from the hotel), good breakfast. We were able to park our motorcycles in the parking garage at no cost.

ItalyThe room was facing the street and was a bit loud in the evening. It was not a big deal, because with the window closed I could not hear the noises too much.
The room is very large, and was equipped with a large bed. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was equipped with basic toiletries. The breakfast was rich and tasty, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

PolandIt is mentioned in the description, but our room was located in a separate 'new' building, 100 meters from the main hotel building, so we needed to go outside for breakfast. This is not necessarily a con, especially since the old building does not have underground parking. However, the description should more clearly emphasize the exact location. More importantly, unfortunately, the room was very stuffy and hot, even with outside temperatures around 20°C. There were some fans in the room, but the nights were a little difficult to endure. Also WiFi was quite poor.
The hotel was chosen as a base for visiting Innsbruck's historic center, and it was a really good choice! The location is close to the pedestrian bridge over the Inn River, just a 5-minute walk from the Nordkette starting point and the old town. The staff were very helpful, the breakfasts were good, and the free underground parking is a definite plus for the hotel.
