Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainNot much to do walking distance except a lake club but you have to get proper weather to enjoy. Nonetheless Innsbruck is just 15min away by car. Since everything is grown in house there can be some farm smells if you open the bedroom window.
Recently refurbished, impecably clean, breakfast was spectacular with all home made-home grown ingredients.

CanadaWe had a wonderful stay at Edenhauserhof! The location is perfect—set in the beautiful outdoors just outside of Innsbruck, with only a short drive into town. The hotel is connected to a lovely camp with a pool and restaurant, making relaxing and enjoying the surroundings easy. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were first-class in every way. The fact that it’s a live dairy farm made it even more special, especially for the kids, who loved seeing the animals. I highly recommend this charming and unique place for a family getaway!

United KingdomVery little we didnt like. Would have been good to have more hot food options at breakfast for the adult price like scrambled/poached eggs, bacon, sausage etc. Little difficult to eat out at night without a car, as last bus back from Innsbruck is earlier than 8pm and taxis (Uber) a little expensive (approx 25 EUR for 15 min journey), luckily the restaurant on the camp site was quite good. For families of 5 we would recommend one of the larger apartments, refer to their website for info.
We arrived late due to our flight being aborted during the landing process, meaning we were diverted to a small airport in Germany to refuel (3hr delay), despite being late, we were checked in without complaint. All areas were spotlessly clean. Beds in main bedroom were comfortable as where pillows, sheets etc. Bathroom high standard. Kitchen excellently equiped. Views from balcony beautiful. Balcony well equipped with dinner table and chairs, and a lounge chair (two would have been great). Continental breakfast delicious. Honesty bar really convient and reasonably priced. Play room great fun for kids and well equipped with lots of toys. Owners and staff all polite, friendly and efficient. Toy tractors great for kids. Great petting the cows who were very tame and being able to milk the cows. Private access to the lake fantactic. Man-made beach area on the lake with three excellent play areas on the site and inflatable water park. Water is slightly green but safe to swim and popular with local people. Bikes and paddle boards available to hire using QR code to access storage cointainers. Restaurant on camp site has very good food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Welcome card plus given to us on arrival which gives free public transport travel across Innsbruck on buses, trams, trains and three cable cars. Public bus runs from 300m away from accomodation to the Innsbruck bus station, always on time. Would recommend getting a hire car through to make getting around easier and reduce journey times to mountains. At the mountains, the cable car takes you to the top where there are restaurants, excellent and multiple childrens play areas and either mountain karts or summer mountain Toboggan ("Alpine Slide") if you want an exciting route down the mountain (up to 40/50kmh!) use google maps to find them.

Setting was beautiful and convenient to the central hub of the city of Innsbruck. The resident animals were a joy.

United KingdomPillows was not very comfortable for me, no fridge, kettle and cups or other utensils in the room, no option to buy some snacks in the evening, only beer and water.
New, clean and spacious rooms, quality shower and mattress, nice view from the room, free lake and all facilities access (water trampolines, shower, toilets etc.) for the guests. Nice calfs on the farm :) The owners was very nice and want to answer all the requests, even provided us beach blanket for the lake.

Newly and nicely furnished apartment, very well equipped kitchen, good wifi, comfy beds I liked that the extra bed for our three-year-old was prepared with a safety guard not to fall out and also gates for the stairs were provided Very nice owners seeing how the cows were milked and playing in the hay was wonderful for our kid. Also great is the free entrance to the swimming lake. Not only for swimming but also there are various playgrounds for different ages. Location: close to Innsbruck, but a quiet area surrounded by nature.

BulgariaWe had a great stay at Edenhauserhof. The property is located next to a beautiful pond where the kids can play and swim. It was a 5 minute walk from the bus station where you can go directly to Innsbruck. The same distance you also have a restaurant. The mountain view was astonishing.

We had an amazing stay at Edenhauserhof, it’s about a 10 minute drive from the main tourist area in Innsbruck so it’s quiet, but easily accessible by car. We loved that it’s super child friendly, it has a playroom, washer and dryer, and a free pass for the playground/lake across the road. It’s also a functional dairy farm so our kids could watch the cows getting milked. Breakfast is also amazing! 10/10 would recommend.
