Franz is an incredible host! He welcomed me, told me some of the best spots in Hallstatt, upgraded my room, and helped me with my luggage. There is a fridge and microwave, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, the view and location are spectacular. I have nothing bad to say! Franz goes above and beyond to make your stay a great one.

There was a party going on all night at the hotel/restaurant next door. It was very loud, luckily I had ear plugs. Was not expecting to need to use them. This does not reflect on the hotel.

Very minor but no place to keep suitcase!

Perfect pension in an ideal location in center of Halstatt. The host, Franz, is friendly and helpful. We had two rooms, attached with bathroom and little kitchenette. Owners have thought of everything, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of hooks in bathroom, slippers, etc. Nice balcony off one of our rooms. Easy to deal with parking in main part of town, then take shuttle to hotel.

This cutie Hallstattique hotel is established on the Austrian countryside folklore style. It’s so cozy, cute, clean, with a view right in front of the lake from the room’s balcony. The hotel is so cute I felt like a character in a cartoons 😍. Frantz is for sure the STAR of this hotel, so gentle, so kind, so helpful, so generous, such a lovely human being, you cannot even imagine. My stay at this hotel was beyond comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you for making my trip simply perfect. 😍

Everything! It was so close to town and had an amazing view! We had everything we needed including slippers, tea/coffee, towels, body wash, etc! The host was kind enough to upgrade our room to a lake view and we were so thankful! He made us complimentary coffees in the morning and we were also able to leave our bags after check out until our ferry. Can not recommend this place enough!!

Nothing, everything was amazing, felt very authentic!

The Staff were amazing, we arrived very late to Hallstatt and they made sure to be there to welcome us and assist us with anything we might need even if it was long after check in hours. The Staff were always available for us, even via WhatsUp. The whole stay felt like being home, only in front of beautiful lake and surrounded by mountains. We difinetly recccoment this place for anyone who is looking for a Cosy and quiet place to stay. Thank you for your efforts, we appreciate you. Peace and Love 🤍

Host was super sweet, super cooperative and accommodative. Location was very central to the historic Square, very close to ferry Dock, Market, history museum etc. Apparent was big and clean.

It was a beautiful, old traditional house! The room was clean, spacious and the gorgeous balcony overlooking the lake was the cherry on top! I was overwhelmed with how helpful, kind and cheerful the staff were! They gave great advice alongside a map of Hallstatt! Overall it was an amazing place to stay!

Pension Cafe zum Mühlbach, Homey in every corner. Interior decoration of the accommodation in the ground floor is so cute with local cafe. Pay attention to lighting and decorations perfectly. There is a corner for us to take photos from the moment we enter. Met the host who welcomed and took good care of us. While going up to the rooms on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors, they were arranged so cutely. The mood of the original house has been redone. It further confirms that the owner really takes care of every point himself. The bedroom balcony is a view that can truly melt my heart. As soon as I opened the room door, wow! The majestic view of Hallstatt Lake stretches out ahead. The spring morning sunlight hits the balcony and the lake like a painting. Staying here i felt recharge, relax, experience the warm atmosphere, beautiful view, good service, complete.

The hotel is clean and warm. It's located right in the center of the village. It has excellent view of the town and lake. There is shuttle service from parking lot to the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.

Such a beautiful hotel to stay. It is in the middle of the village . Easy access. The reception guy was so helpful and friendly. It is an old building but clean and, cozy and lovely. Facilities are good and There is free coffee & Tea available :)

Everything perfect!! Franz who works there was so wonderful, sweet and helpful! I got a free upgrade which was soo amazing with a beautiful view! It was a really cute, comfortable room and shared bathrooms were super clean and nice. It’s right in the center so close to everything in this fairytale village. Had delicious cake and cappuccino for breakfast which was another sweet compliment from Franz! It was the best end to this perfect stay!

Excellent host, gracious and very helpful. Host provide information on how to move around and must try restaurants. Definitely one of the best host around. Even provided us a free ice cream each. Will definitely stay here next year.
