Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The location is perfect. A quiet street neighbouring all touristic sites and next to the metro. The room is rather small but includes all what is needed for short stays.

United Arab EmiratesA restaurant in the hotel would've been lovely. The beds and pillow are too soft, don't support the back. So anyone with a gentle back - keep this in mind. This is not the hotel's fault at all (just my opinion) but the approach road into the hotel isn't nice. The building opposite has a lot of graffiti. The open windows suggest there is/was an industrial kitchen or something. Looks abandoned and unkempt.
Lovely staff, beautiful hotel decorated in the most cosy way. Breakfast was nice. Tea and coffee available anytime during the day! Proximity to everything is a positive factor.

RomaniaAt the first look, the furniture seems a little old, but , in fact , it is an element of the boeme atmosphere :)
We love the hotel for the good and elegant atmosphere, for the excellent breakfast and very nice and friendly staff. Also, the position is great: near the Secession museum and the ring center, but still very quiet street. The hotel offer also a live concert on classic music on Sunday afternoon and a tea time with cookies every day and those are things that contribute to a good vibe of the hotel. We will certainly return as soon as possible:)

Attention to details in this hotel is great. Each floor has a theme and it's decorated differently. Taking stairs and checking every floor/wallpaper, the name of the room was like visiting a gallery. Bonus was a welcome book in a room with a story of hotel explained, history, and some personal tips from the owner of the hotel for the first time Vienna visitors (coffee, restaurants..). We enjoyed the lounge area in the afternoon with a seasonal cake and tea/coffee, where the piano of the owner is placed. This hotel has soul and created with so much love and details. It's not your regular hotel. I arrived late at night, around 11 pm and wanted to get fruits. The staff brought me a basket of fruit to refresh. To most center locations we were able to walk. Our transportation to/from hotel to the airport was Uber. In the city - either a walk or very well organized public transportation. If we come back to Vienna, we will stay in the Beethoven hotel again.

South AfricaSome of the other staff were quite unfriendly, other than the lovely woman who checked us in and tried to help us with the accommodation changed. The woman who checked us out was quite unhelpful in assisting my friend and I to split our bill.
Excellent location, really nice bar, comfortable beds, loved the Salon Concert. The woman who checked us in and tried to help with our booking change when the Taylor Swift concert was cancelled was very nice. So was the owner who arranged the music nights in the bar.

United StatesOur room wasn’t ready (we were early from over night flight) and we had to wait 4 hours. After an overnight flight from Chicago, we desperately needed to lie down. But the hotel made us feel as comfortable as they could. We were early so it wasn’t their fault. It was just awful and soured us at first.
I loved the air conditioning!!!! Our room was a much needed ice box and I couldn’t have been happier given how hot it was in Vienna and how clearly offended they must be by air conditioning LOL. Great location. Great staff. I’d stay here again for sure.
