Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomAll rooms were in the roof space of a large building block and so separated 6 floors above the entrance reception. There was only one lift between the ground floor to the 6 floor, with spiral inner building staircase for escape in case of an emergency.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had daily room service. The room maid was very pleasant and efficient in her work. The hotel was in a good central location with a short walk for sightseeing, shops and places to eat.

IndiaSince I stayed for a night, it was perfect, but since we were a family of 2 adults and a youth, the room was small, as there was no space for luggage, the shower space is very small. Also, the corridor leading to the rooms is very small. For a single person, it's an ideal place.
It's a nice hotel, the location is close to many tourist attractions and it's close to the tram station. The rooms were clean and tidy. The linen were clean and sparkling. Everything I needed in the room was in place. The check-in and check out were smooth.

AustraliaWe felt that the air conditioning was not very powerful, and the first room (with only one window which could only be opened a little) was a bit stuffy. The blinds in the second room (with 3 beautiful large windows) were difficult to position to provide a full blackout from the morning sun.
Amazing location, a 5min walk to both Stadtpark and Karlsplatz underground. Also with 71, D and 2 trams stopping right out the front - super convenient for all sightseeing. There is a Spar supermarket right across the road and many restaurants within a few minutes walk from the hotel. We had the 2 interconnecting rooms on the top floor, appreciated the large lift, and it was good that there were 2 bathrooms (both with shower and toilet). The beds were comfortable, including the spare bed set up in one of the rooms for our 5th group member. The second room had three large windows which would be opened right up for a beautiful breeze and view. Hotel reception (in particular Tanja) was super friendly and helpful.
