Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe bathroom shower was so small that I couldn't wash my hair without bumping my elbows on the doors. The water faucets were confusing to use, but because the shower was so small, I could stand on the outside and manipulate them to reach the desired temperature. The a/c was inadequate. I'm glad we were there during a cooler period. Even with a window, it was too high for me to get any kind of view. We didn't even look at the breakfast,....how could we possibly eat €20+ worth, when McDonalds is across the street? Two other fine restaurants are close by. The elevator sounds like it is ready to give up. The position of the coffee pot is under the slanted ceiling. Not good. Housekeeping was very good. Towels were very flat. It was great to have a towel warmer in the bathroom. The sink countertop was inadequate for 2 women to store toiletries. The drain was vert slow. The pillows were flat. The closet was enormous. But the safe was so high on the shelf, passport or other flat documents could easily be missed.

United KingdomWould have been nice to have tea and milk, as well as coffee in our room. The aircon wasn’t great but it is an old building, so appreciated just having it! Velux window meant no view, but we weren’t in the room much.
Location is fantastic, staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and cleaned daily.

United StatesThat we paid $339 Euros to get our laundry done. We thought it was complimentary with our stay!! A total rip-off!! Poorly communicated and left a very sour taste in all of us. Can’t even comprehend how used I felt when I say the price, get your own laundry room or let your patrons know what a scam that is. You should be ashamed.

Australiareception desk is always dark as if unattended. The worse bit is the corridor to the rooms is small, old,dirty, smelly & very narrow & winding. If there was a fire it would be very hazardous as poor signage.
Room was very new and cosy. Good bed and air conditioning. The hotel is sitting on a corner block ,very elegant & beautiful but there’s no lights to show how beautiful it is.

Brilliant location, you can walk to all of the main attractions in Vienna in 10-15 minutes and the metro stop to the schonbrunn is 5minutes away. Perfect for a quick trip.

IsraelOnly con was humming noise from outside maybe an air condition but it was not too loud.. Of course it's not a luxury hotel but cannot complain for the location and the reasonable price
The location was really good . Close to the center . Warm welcome. The air condition was really good in our room .. we had luck because it was replaced days before. We had a room for 2 adults and 2 kids . The beds were comfortable. The room had a small fridge , a coffee machine with capsules and a kettle .
