Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyThe only slightly disappointing part was that the sauna was out of order, which was one reason we chose this place to relax after a long drive and justified the cost.

SingaporeThere were too many house flies flying around at the Eating area. The hotel could maybe try to do something to reduce the flies. It will also be good if a small fridge and kettle could be provided
The food was really good. Dinner was fantastic! The tomato soup served for dinner was the best I have ever tasted in my life. The Meats were also very well barbecued. The machine freshly-squeezed orange juice served during breakfast was interesting and it was really nice to drink, best fresh orange juice as compared to what I get in my home country. Room was clean and comfortable too. Met the owner who was very hospitable.

United KingdomThe hotel coffee machine broke down on our last day, One is not guaranteed an underground car park space.
The staff were very helpful. The rooms were very comfortable. The meals were generous and tasty - there were many courses. There was an underground car park and I usually managed to get a space. It was about a 30 minutes drive each morning to the glacier for our ski trip. There was a sauna and steam room in the basement of the hotel which we used just once. This facility was great, but we were busy - we would return from the slopes at 5:00 and dinner was at 7:30. All the staff at the hotel were friendly - every one had a smile, which makes a great start to the day.
