the location, the staff was friendly, the terrace is very nice, the room I had, had a nice balcony, each bed has curtains which helps a lot to feel a little more privacy, in general I had a good experience in this hostel

Coming back 14 hours later, now the person at the reception didn't even know about us. He couldn't find our reservation, he wanted us to pay again, and the room was not ready (That's maybe not his fault, but a bad management - but it's definitely not our fault either). We expected to pick up the key and have a sleep at shortly before midnight after spending the whole day sightseeing. Instead he made us wait for another 30 min, as he appeared to be unorganized. In between I had doubts, that there was a free room at all for us, despite the fact that we already paid in the morning. The next day I asked about this issue at the reception, but she didn't had a clue either. The hostel is super noisy, as the internal staircases are all open, and with the roof on top (which wasn't installed in the original design 100 years ago), this gives the perfect resonance chamber. Even if people are just talking "normally", the noise can be heard in all floors. It has really bad acoustics.

The staff in the morning was very friendly and let us deposit our backpacks, as we couldn't check in yet. The glass window in our door was covered with dark curtains, so we didn't had an issue with the lights in the hallway.

everything was really good and customer service was great. the only thing was they didn't have a card to give me for opening doors and when they did it was kind of difficult to open the bedroom door. besides that everything was great. Very clean, quiet and all the guests where friendly and respectful.

the beds are very nice and the cortines in the room really help. the location is great! walk distance from puerto madero, right by the san telmo fair. if you take the bus from the airport and stop at the puerto madero station, you can walk like 1,5km and get to the hostel, 20 minutes. it’s pretty easy! and safe

In general the building is old and beautiful, very impressive but it needs a lot of maintenance. Bathrooms are run down, AC in my room was leaking, doors are difficult to open. The place has lots of potential!

I stayed in the private room which is super big and has an amazing view over the city. There were lots of different areas to work from and wifi was good. Location is great too and staff was friendly, letting me check in early.

It was brutally hot in the 4th floor with 38°C and ni AC. Small ventilator didn't do anything 😅

The kitchen has a grand total of 3 plates. The rest of the utensils are in similar numbers. The mixed showers lack privacy.

It's a rather large hostel with plenty of common areas. The terrasse is great. It is pretty well setup for digital nomads despite most of the clients being regular backpackers. Good breakfast for an extra 500$

-the room itself was not too clean, you put your bag under the bed in a “locker” but it was very dirty -no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands -on one day there was no warm water in the shower

-good location -sockets & a small safe next to the pillow (but bring two padlocks to lock that and the under bed compartment as well) -surprisingly clean kitchen -there were only 2 toilets & showers per floor but surprisingly we never needed to stand in line

Not really a place were you can work, offices are small, often occupied by people playing videogames. Made reservations for a 6 person room but got assigned to a 12 person room instead.

The showers didn't have doors, only curtains which didn't stick to walls, therefore it felt a bit uncomfortable if someone else was using the bathroom. Also they were not the cleanest with so many people using it. I think two toilets per floor isn't enough. Kitchen was quite dirty, especially fridge which was full of stains and definitely not enough for so many people. Also in the room (for 6 people in total) there was only 1 small table and 1 chair.

The hostel is located near Plaza de Mayo and metro station. It has a very nice terrace and a retro elevator. The reception was always helpful and nice. Place for eating big enough, lockers under the bed, I'd say all what's needed for visit in the city. Internet signal was pretty good without interruptions and separate rooms for those who wanted to work.

9 bed dorm is a bit dirty. The topmost one is very difficult to reach. Staff management is not that great. Kitchen is a mess with one small refrigerator. During night there is lot of noise from the bars nearby

Very Noisy. People were in the kitchen and balcony till 4 am. Impossible to sleep. No regulations in the hostel for silent hours The 3rd-floor bed is not convenient. Left my pills there but the cleaning staff threw them out Dirty bathrooms

1. the cleaning service was horrible, we found a nail in our room and the sheets were with some brown traces… Concerning the bathrooms, it was mushrooms all over the wall. 2. Concerning the service, one persone from the staff was really nice but they scams us 7000pesos for our room. When we ask for the owner (who live at the 5th floor) the staff tells us to see with him the next day. We waited for him 30min for nothing. I went 4 times after this to have my money back and after the 4h time, it was only 6000pesos. What a shame ! 3. The place was really noisy, some people were in the kitchen and make a lot noise up to 2:30AM. It was a disaster and of course I will tell you to put some money on an other hostel.

It was on San Telmo which means that it was a good emplacement
