We really enjoyed our stay in Los Calafates. the room was spacious, very clean and cozy. The breakfast was good and complete with everything we liked. The place itself makes you feel at home in Ushuaia, but the staff add even more to the feeling. Ada and Hernán were very helpful, attentive and responsive, always caring for our experience. I thank them for having made our time in Ushuaia memorable and I highly recommend this place if you are planning to spend some time in the city.

Have to wait for hot water ~10 minutes + high audibility, had to use earplugs.

Loved breakfast and that they cleaned everyday. Room is quite cozy, heating is good.

Breakfast was typical Argentine. Not really my favourite but relatively good.

Super friendly host - helped us a lot to arrange trip to park etc. The hotel is a traditional wooden Ushuaia house reflecting the town's history. It was warm and comforting.

I just arrived back from an Antarctic expedition and they were very accommodating with letting me leave the bags with them before and after my check-out. I was really tired so I appreciated the quiet, serenity of my room at night. The breakfast and staff were top notch also. I would highly recommend this hotel! All of the staff members were extremly welcoming and helpful. I even extended my stay because I was happy with everything, the room was big and pretty and had space to put clothes, the location was very good, breakfast was ok, I would totally recommend it!!

The staff were proactive in asking how they can help - organise tours, suggest walks, book bus etc. In particular the host ( sorry cant remember his name) was fantastic at suggesting walks in the National park giving great practical advice. He could speak good Engligh too which helped as our Spanish isn't great! Good breakfast. Coffee and hot chocolate available throughout the day. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Complimentary shampoo & conditioner dispenser not working. I asked for an additional soap bar for hand washing but not provided. I wasn’t sure about the gas heater in the room, so left a window open ( carbon monoxide risk- the room should have a carbon monoxide monitor for gas safety) they are not expensive & in uk last 10 years

All! From Ada's reception, with her friendliness and knowledge of the city, to the comfortable room and delicious breakfast. The location is not far from the main street, so we just needed some transportation to get to more distant places, like the parks or the airport.

Absolutely perfect place to stay in Ushuaia. Walking distance from good restaurants, grocery stores and the waterfront where tours begin. Breakfast was simple and delicious with several options. Hosts could not be more gracious and helpful, and price absolutely could not be beat! If we make it all the way back to Ushuaia we would not consider staying anywhere else.

The house is kept warmer than I would prefer, but no one else seemed to mind. I turned off the heater in my room and it was fine.

A very comfortable experience. I felt at home and very welcome. The breakfast was a great addition. I slept well.

We literally liked everything.

This was a charming house-based boutique / hostel in Ushuaia. I believe there are 6 rooms, but they have just purchased the building next door and are expanding into it. The property was spotlessly clean, the owners were delightful, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was homemade and delicious; it was a combination of local pastries, fruits, meats/cheeses and eggs. Coffee was tasty. Our bed was comfortable. Each room has its own gas heater. Ours had a little problem and they fixed it quickly. It was a few blocks from the touristy downtown, which we loved - neither too close nor far. The street was quiet and the other visitors very international. Building security was excellent. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Toilet tap doesn’t stay up (needs to be adjusted). Hernan (the other manager) is very efficient and professional but he should smile a bit more ;)

Ada one of the managers is an angel very very nice helping me on everything and treating me like a king. They allowed me to bring a visitor at no cost. The breakfast was very nice. Good location. Good wifi. Comfy and spacious room. Common space for working.

Really lovely family run BnB. Great recommendations of hikes by Hernan. Walking distance to town and we found it easy to park straight outside. Definitely would stay here again.
