Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ThailandThe bathroom is a bit small.
The staffs were nice and helpful. The location is very good, very close to the Obelisco. There're nearby 24hr-supermarket, fastfoods and souvenir shop. I really like that the room overall is spacious with a set of table, chairs and sofa in main room. Refrigerator and microwave are ready for easy-cooking meal.

United StatesMy son was really excited about going to the pool, which is part of why I chose it, but it was always full of bugs. It was really disgusting and my son was so disappointed. The available outlets in the room are across the room from the bed, which is kind of frustrating if you need to access your phone before bed but while it's charging. The television has one channel and is extremely snowy. There was a flickering light in the room that I told them about right after check in, that took 3 or 4 days to resolve.
Breakfast was good. Decent number of options, buffet style. The location is perfect. There's plenty within walking distance, including a train station. There's a restaurant and a supermarket across the street. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. There's always someone by the front door of the hotel to let people in and out and secure the premises.

CanadaPresenting the room as equipped with a kitchenette is a major overstatement. I accept the lack of a cook top, but I can't remember the last hotel room that I've booked that didn't have any facility for making a coffee. Also two cups with saucers, two plates and two glasses is pretty meager. Oh and it was necessary to request cutlery from the front desk, really!! Do they encounter a lot of knife and fork thieves? There was a fridge and a microwave but a toaster would have been wonderful. I assume this tactic is employed to drive business to their breakfast room.
The location was great close to EL Obilisko and lots of theaters and restaurants as well as the Bellas Artes art gallery.

AustraliaWe specifically asked for two seperate beds, in my booking, a follow up email the week before we arrived, and several messages via What's App to the property. We arrived to find a queen bed and the couch made up for the second bed. I asked reception why they didn't give us the twin bed room as requested several times, showed them copies of email and messages, and was told "we upgraded your room" As I pointed out, I had changed the booking on their advice to include the two beds. They then provided us with a single trundle bed. There were no tea/coffee making facilities, no kettle, cups. The bathroom was also smelly and very dim with a single low watt globe and all black tiles. The breakfast at US$14 was way overpriced for what was on offer. The only cereal was corn flakes and fruit loops. The toaster only had one element working so only one piece of bread could be inserted at a time, I needed to ask if there was any fresh fruit, then two bowls of fruit were produced, only scrambled eggs and sausages and a chicken casserole for hot food. The men at reception clearly didn't enjoy their job. Were quite unfriendly to us and other guests. The only smile was from the very helpful young doorman.
The room was huge with a couch and lounge chair included

GermanyGreat location near the Obelisk. We were afraid that it would be noisy, but our room on the 6th floor was very quiet. We especially liked the spacious room with plenty of space for our luggage. Friendly staff. Breakfast was nice, we never had to wait for a table. We highly recommend this hotel!

United StatesNo hot water in 2 rooms. Think they are undergoing some construction/fix-up on property.
Hotel was in an ideal location. Walk to a lot of attractions. Rooms were very spacious/clean and modern. Breakfast had an assortment and was good enough. Had a late flight so receptionist was able to let me stay for a later 5:30pm checkout for a fee of $50 so that was convenient.

United KingdomI booked a suite which came with a very small kitchen area with a fridge, sink, microwave and kettle. First thing I did on arrival was go to the supermarket to buy a few breakfast things like yogurts and fruit …. The hotel provide 2 cups and 2 plates but not a single item of cutely … no knives, forks or spoons which I found very odd and difficult to make use of having a kitchen.
A very central location which is what I wanted .. Great to have a supermarket across the street to pick up essentials on arrival. I booked a suite which was spacious, comfortable and clean. Good shower and the air on worked well. Despite being so central there wasn’t too much street noise. Nice to have a separate sitting area and a fridge. I didn’t book the breakfast so can’t comment on that but all the reception staff I spoke to had good English and were very helpful. I would book again.

CanadaThe rooms were like a highway motel back in the 60's. Major upgrading is needed. The bathroom grout had mold and the toilet seat was chipped. No counter near the sink to put your things on. The room had a small window with dark drapes to the floor that made it look very dark. The so called kitchenette had no cooking utensils what so ever. Not even cutlery to eat with. the space was huge but wasted.
Location was great. The breakfast was exceptional. A lot of variety and steady refilling of anything getting low. The girls were terrific.

United StatesProperty needs a little TLC and upgrading, along with some maintenance. Everything is done cheaply - towels are as thin as the ones we used back in middle school, and the internet/WiFi is horrible! Almost non-existant. The little kitchenette was helpful (small refrigerator, microwave, sink) but there were not any utensils for the plates, and they did not provide any towels or dish soap.
The location of this property is excellent! Less than a block from the Obelisco monument, and within walking distance to lots of restaurants. Grocery store and Pharmacia are directly across the street. Transportation is easy to/from this property. Neighborhood is relatively safe, just be mindful of your surroundings, like with any major city. Property is very secure as they have a doorman 24/7.
