We stayed at Villa Kars in winter, so it was freezing cold in the common room where the breakfast takes place. Same thing about the bathroom.

The location is amazing, cozy interiors and friendly staff. Very beautiful territory and design.

Great location in the center of Gyumri. The hotel has a great feel, like stepping back into history. We were surprised by how big our room was (it was a loft style). I would definitely come back.

My mattress was pretty thin and soft, which made it difficult to get comfortable. Stayed in nicer places for same price while in Armenia.

One of the electric plugs wasn't working. Some basic stuff the I assume each room at that price should have were missing. Stuff like a hairdryer, soap, slippers.

The building itself was very nice. The yard inside of it, and some of the rooms were looking very cozy and nice. The staff was very friendly and hospitable.

It's a historic building, it provided me with an experience I never had. Its not a luxurious setting, but knowing I was sleeping in a room that was from a couple of centuries ago, with artifacts and remnants from old churches all around.

The one thing I didn't like was a little spider in the bathroom in the morning. Our room was on the first floor, which is why I think the little guy decided to visit us. Didn't bother us though, stayed in his little corner, didn't make any noise, didn't even look at us. If you have a phobia of spiders, ask them to book a room on the second floor for you. Was not a big deal for us. Another thing I think the hotel could work on is the bed. It could be more comfortable, with a nice modern option for the bed and mattress.

Absolutely beautiful, the building, the rooms, the little courtyard, fits with the city exceptionally well. Was a pleasure coming back to the room after a walk in the city. Great location, nice cafes and restaurants nearby, some of the most historic buildings and the boulevard too. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was clean, VERY nice design with antique furniture, feels like traveling back in time. Big thanks to the staff, I left a charger in the room and they were quick to bring it back to me before I left. This hotel is great for people looking for an experience, it doesn't look like a modern, minimalistic hotel, it has a very historic, vintage vibe to it. Would stay again.

Comparing the price, the hotel facilities and breakfast were not perfect but average (No sugar, coffee, tea, tissue in the room) The guy working in the breakfast saloon was so nice and friendly and so caring. We missed visiting the tile workshop which is in the hotel. No one told us about it. I asked the reception about tiles in the breakfast saloon, and he was surprised why the reception girls didn't told us about the workshop. Unfortunately It was out of working hour and we were living the hotel that day.

The place is really beautiful and well renovated. We loved our stay in this hotel. The hotel location is in a great place and easy access to Gyumri old area.

We booked 3 rooms. The smallest one was soso, others were very nice. Do not book that one. 3+ or 4+ is the way to go. Breakfast was pure, could have been more authentic or just more :). Some bedsheets and towels had some stains.

The location is great, the interior and garden was very authentic and interesting. Stuff was nice and helpful.

Attention to detail: no coffee or tea in room even though there was a kettle and cups. Some of the furniture in the second room I booked needed mending. It was a hot day in Gyumri and maybe a period table fan (not the mass produced plastic stuff please) or something like that would add to the charm of the place. There were a bunch of random chairs in the room and I wasnt sure what they were for...

Excellent rooms, and great location. The cats were adorable. The piano in the room was great, even though I cant play.

It was a wonderful, centrally located hotel. You could truly feel the history of the city in the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
