Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

New ZealandMy friend and I came from New Zealand, we wanted to see Jermuk whilst in Armenia and it's our favourite small town in the world. Words can't convey how beautiful and magical this part of Armenia is. Jermuk Moscow Health Retreat was so wonderful that we've stayed 2 extra nights. The rooms were spacious, clean and amazing views. The buffet style food is fantastic, compliments to the chef and his team. Both of us are vegetarians. The treatments were incredible. The staff are so lovely, jolly and kind. we met some beautiful people at the retreat too. We enjoyed getting our daily hot spring water. sometimes we'd take the mini bus provided by the hotel, sometimes we'd walk through the park alley, which is only about 15 minutes. The building itself is grand, with chandeliers and plants everywhere. We came back to Yerevan inspired and rejuvenated. Now dreaming of Jermuk and coming back one day.

FranceOne of the things that could be improved is the water in the shower. It would change its temperature from time to time (become very hot for a minute or 5 minutes, then very cold) even though nobody else in the room was using water or flusing the toilet.
I personally loved everything about the hotel, would gladly stay there again, but not everyone in my group was as thrilled as me. The hotel was built in the 60s and not only the architecture reminds you of these times, but the interior as well, even though it was renovated you will find inside many plants, old style carpeting, the ping pong table in the middle of the corridor on the last floor. Fans of retro will love it! The location was another thing I enjoyed a lot - hotel is located a bit more than 1 km away from the city center, which makes it a very calm place and the walk to the hot springs through the park is very relaxing. It is a health resort mostly for people with digestion problems, so the food there is adjusted accordingly - you can always find something low fat and easy for the digestion (was a great plus for me); at the same time you have a lot of tasty pastries, ham, cheese and different salads. However some picky eaters from our group were upset that there never were standard sauces like mayo and ketchup (even though there always were some traditional sauces). One of the best things about the hotel is the stuff - all of them are very friendly and extremelly helpful.

Armeniaa bit hard to keep some special diets (gluten-free, refined oil-free), especially when all food is so tasty. Wifi coverage is a bit poor, ask staff to check it in some far side rooms, if you really hard need in wifi.
Overall - very good! Very clean, The staff is very responsible and kind. Location - is great, 10-15 minutes to the mineral water gallery through the park into the city center. But there is a free car service from the Resort that takes care of 3 times a day transporting you to the gallery if you are lazy enough. The food was good for me, and I was satisfied. Great place to relax, clear your mind, escape from a city routine, and enjoy a slow and non-active vacation.

ArmeniaIf you come here just for peaceful place, to sleep, take some health procedures, than it is a very good place, just for you. But if you want something other, don't expect to get it. They don't provide any bicycle renting service, no excursions, no bars. The wi-fi almost doesn't work. The TV shows only a few channels and not connected to the internet to become smart tv.
The meal is not bad, it is average, don't wait to be provided with any special dish. It is a self-service buffet. But overall, you will not stay hungry. The location is very quiet place, as the whole town is. It is not very far from the so called Gallery of Mineral Waters. You may walk to Gallery for 20 minutes. Also hotel provides with a bus to Gallery. The main activity here is to take some health procedures, which could last from 10.00am to 5.00pm.
