Quite hard to find, it’s hidden behind the EMI supermarket. Parking was on the road outside the hotel.

I recently spent 3 nights at Saly Hotel in Durres with my family, and it was a delightful experience. This small, family-run hotel exudes a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The care and attention provided by the hotel staff were truly exceptional. We received a warm welcome, and the quality of services was outstanding. The breakfast was excellent, and the cleanliness was impeccable. I particularly appreciated the helpfulness of the miss at the reception, who assisted us with printing our boarding passes and arranging a taxi to the airport before our departure. I will definitely return to this hotel.

There is no safe in the room, so we were a bit scared to leave our valuables in the room, but it was all good, didn't have issues in the end.

Two things, clearly! 1. The name on the front side of the building is spelt YLAS top-down! Maybe the owner is an anagram fan but folks who come here after a long trip are not really at Durres to solve crossword puzzles, especially when the entry lane is tiny and with no other markers on the crowded main road for the turn. 2. There is no lift, which is alright. But the super narrow and twisting stairs are a disaster in the waiting, if you are carrying a suitcase. See the photo and you will know what I mean!

A wonderful, small, 1-year old boutique hotel located right on the beach, adjacent to a walking/cycling track and amidst multiple eating out options, it impressed us! That said, it's a blink& miss location if you don't know the area, and the small building with the name spelt upside down doesn't help any! Wish the hotel automatically sent out a location pin or clear directions with the booking confirmation! The reception staff Clara was the sweetest we met on the entire trip, forever smiling and willing to help. The rooms were well appointed and the balcony of all those at the back overlooked the beach. The bathroom was spacious and nice- a good change after a few we have encountered on this trip. The beach itself was muddy towards the shore, as the bottom was not grainy/white sand. But the gradient was so low, that one could walk a hundred meters and still be in chest deep water! There is a tiny but nice outdoor exercise park too for public use, right behind the hotel! The breakfast was a set menu but a good combination of eggs/sausage/salads/bread with local dishes.

Great location by the promenade, accessible by car and on foot. Plenty of restaurants and shops in the area and a supermarket right beside it. Very tasty breakfast with the option to have it in their newly built seaside restaurant or brought to your room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Modern, newly renovated rooms with all necessities and comfy beds. Proper size balcony with bonus points for an insect net on the balcony door, that's a really nice touch to enjoy the sea breeze in the evenings as well. The A/C system was built-in with options to add timers for heating etc.

There was no electricity or WiFi when we arrived but it was restored in some hours.

Finding a parking place on the busy street was stresful. The owner was kind to provide one parking slot next to the hotel entrance, but we had two cars.

The hotel has an amazing location the stuff is lovely and very happy to assist you with everything you need. The view also was amazing and you have a sidewalk right beside the beach to enjoy the view.
