Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomVery noisy. Party music all day and esp night (should have read between the lines when it said "soundproof" doors. Staff new and appeared to lack any training in hospitality.

United KingdomThe area has become overdeveloped- the next door hotels can play very loud music which is totally unnecessary and unpleasant. Parking is tricky and costs an extra €10 per day.
Friendly staff, smallish hotel with its own great peninsula position. There are way more loungers than people, so no hassle getting somewhere. Nice breakfast, and lounger towels provided.

SwitzerlandSurrounding clubs and bars were a little loud which might bother some people. Though the windows in the room provided quite good sound isolation. Breakfast could be improved. Better Coffee & other hot drinks etc. Charging for parking.
Hotel is right by the sea and has numerous beaches and terraces to sit by the sea. No need to reserve sunbeds and we were able to move to different locations throughout the day. Food & Drink could be ordered to your location by WhatsApp

JerseyThe breakfast could maybe have been a little more varied, with more fresh fruit, but it was still nice. The music from the neighbouring beach bar was a little too loud at times!
The hotel and the staff exceeded our expectations, they were so lovely and friendly and knowledgeable about the area. All the facilities were tip top and the outdoor space was fantastic and well run. The sunbeds were so comfortable and there was no panic about getting on for the day as there were plenty.

United KingdomOver priced lunches/drinks on the beach. Was cheaper elsewhere. Wasn’t aloud to eat on our balcony. Not a problem for us but is a fine if you lose your beach towel but wasn’t told this on check in. So useful to know. Would be nice if paddle boards were included the price seemed to change everyday.
Amazing location on the beach. Sun loungers included Nice rooms Good staff

GermanyThe room smelled. Like one corner of the room smelled like urine. We told the guy from the reception, but he was not really into. They just sprayed something over it, but it didn't really help. For that price an absolute no go.
The place on itself is super beautiful and we loved the beach around. Also the stuff behind the bar was really nice and helpful

AustraliaWe booked a junior suite with sea view, the room we were given (room 108) was on the ground floor surrounded by footpaths, the restuarant on site and trees. It was not private when the blinds were open, so we had to keep them closed. There was only a small/ partial sea view which was not visable unless on the terrace. The room was not at all a reflection of the photos on booking.com that lead us to making the reservation. We noted the booking was also for a special occassion and booked in January (well in advance to our reservationlate August).
Large room, nice bathroom, cleaned everyday, great location and they book beach beds out for you.

NetherlandsWe thought we booked an exclusive resort (if we compare prices with our other stays in Ksamil/Albania). There’s a lot of potential for this place but we were a little disappointed that the ‘private beach’ wasn’t private. Visitors from outside came to our breakfast and our beach area. We had to make a reservation for a spot on the beach deck two days beforehand. Staff were very friendly, but we missed a little bit of the hospitality we had hoped for for this price. They can’t help the loud music from neighbors, but this was also a disappointment for us. No quiet time on your balcony. Overall we had a pleasant stay, just with some disappointments.
The rooms were good, comfortable and clean. The restaurant, bar and beach deck were nice places to hang out. Good breakfast buffet.

United StatesNo drink menus were available. It would have been great to have one to look at available coffees, wines, cocktails but we had to know what we wanted to order. We had to seek out service if we wanted something but they were super nice and accommodating when we asked. The music from all the other properties was overpowering. The AC didn’t work as well as it should in some of the rooms. Communication at check in should have been more outlined. We were very confused a lot of the time but we made the best of it.
It was very beautiful & great property with lots of loungers. Rooms were spacious. The staff were all very nice. It was great to have a lounger area assigned to each room per our choosing. Breakfast was a great spread.

DenmarkThe restaurant was not open yet. It opened last day of our stay, but we didn't visit it. Same with the beach bar. It was a shame because we had hoped for cocktails at the beach.
The location is like in a dream. Maybe the best hotel location in all of Ksamil! The staff was friendly and in general, we had a really good time. Hope to visit again in the future.

United KingdomFor a 5* resort there’s a lot of things missing. Energy kept going off in the hotel, the bar was still being built and the breakfast didn’t have enough options ( eggs and sausage, croissant or cereals ) not what you expect from a 5* . £1200 is what we paid , 2x as much all the place in the area but feel like the hotel didn’t match the expectations of 5* resort

United Kingdomas it’s a newly opened hotel it feels like there are a few finishing touches missing to make this hotel really great. for example some information in the rooms would be helpful, as well as a kettle, bin, and some glasses for water.
absolutely beautiful location! so lovely being right on the water front with a large private beach with plenty of options for sunbathing on comfortable loungers. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and nice balcony overlooking the water. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the tour around the hotel when we arrived was a nice touch.

United KingdomThe deluxe room is compact. Our view from the balcony was obscured by trees. Although the views are beautiful on all sides, the peace is spoilt by neighbouring resorts constantly playing loud music.
The location sets this hotel apart. Surrounded on three sides by private beaches, you are securing privacy and exclusivity. The hotel is very comfortable, the staff are attentive and helpful. The hotel is new, so the room was very clean. everything in town was within a few minutes walk. Breakfast was fresh and tasty.

SwitzerlandThey only have one bar/restaurant which is awful, including service. No decent food, no real choice for drinks and you cannot bring food and drinks from outside. There was loud music from all around from 8:30am to midnight. Therefore, impossible to relax and enjoy the place. It was end of season but no excuse for not having the lounge chairs and half the property uncared for.
It is located in a beautiful bay.

BelgiumThe hotel is highly overpriced for what it offers. At the time of booking it was the most expensive in Ksamil for the chosen period. Electricity was cut for a few hours on one day with no explanation or excuse from the management of the hotel. Although the hotel advertised “free sunbeds and towels” on at least 2 days (out of the five which we spent there) towels were not available when requested. Moreover, on the last day, after asking if we could stay on the beach for 2-3 extra hours after the check-out time (which was 10h00 - earlier than most hotels in Ksamil) we were bluntly told that we would need to pay the sunbeds, because these are the hotel rules. So in terms of customer satisfaction the reception staff is totally clueless. Noise from the nearby beach bars can be a total discomfort, particularly in the late evening. When asking about earplugs, I was told that they do not provide it anymore, because noise is no longer a problem. I can tell you it is a big problem. Furthermore, no glasses were provided in the room and housekeeping was a problem - on one day some of the towels were not changed, on another the pillow cover was taken off, but not replaced - so we were left with one pillow with no cover.
The location of the hotel is probably one of the best in Ksamil, with a very nice private beach in front of the property. The staff from the restaurant and the ones in charge with the breakfast were super nice and helpful.
