Nice, friendly staff which try to be helpful as can be, even if they don't speak English. Local breakfast: eggs, olive, sausage, feta cheese, soft cheese and jams. Coffee made by gentleman and bring to your table. Outside hotel local coffee bar and bakery around the corner. 15- 20 minutes from City center by walk.

The location is not so great. The place is a 18 minutes incline walk from the city center. The breakfast had no variety - some rolls, cheese and boiled eggs everyday! The bed needed an upgrade - it was sagging.

The room was disgusting, the mattress had a massive dip in the middle, terrible bedding, dirty and extremely worn. Towels seem to be there since 1st century. Walls and curtains stained and the AC ancient and hadn't been serviced since God knows when, my baby coughed all night because of it. The worst customer care we had in our 10 days in Albania. Absolutely NOT recommended

The room wasn't even e room.it was created to be that's why it has windows as walls.they say that we get the best of they room (omg) 🤯 One window couldn't close.the walls and door should be changed. We asked them to get in earlier than the hour of check in and they said yes but when we went there it wasn't and the reaction of the man that probably was the owner was like i don't know who answer you on booking but you have to wait the lady to clean. His wife then, prepared the room but without cleaning it and they delivered dirty. The toilet was awful. The air condition was old .. I dont know what i breathe these days but it was too hot not to open it. They tried to correct things..but .. anyway

Personnel are stealing!! The receptionist came to our room during the day we should have moved out and started to demand for money that we should give him, nothing helped and he didn't allow us to do anything without it, he demanded 5 euro. Because of this situation the vacation is ruined as we are not conflicting people and just wanted to end this situation. Additionally, breakfast does not even exist. For breakfast we received some bread, olives, butter, sausages, cheese and egg, everything was cold and really small and not in very clean plates. It stinks in the room and in the toilet. I am not even sure it was cleaned even one time. The sink is broken, the shower is broken. I really do not recommend this place, as there are no positives and you will have your vacation ruined.

Everything. The place is dirty. The location is not at all good very far from city centre. The bathroom fixings are all broken, the bed smells, the blankets smell like rotten tomatoes. The main door frame had a peeling fixture completely coming off. Worthless breakfast. The staff at night had no idea we were coming. He took 30 min to check in inspite of seeing us with a baby and having confirmation email. He couldn't speak English so communication was tough. We stayed just a night but regretted it badly.

It was a horrible experience to book this hotel— me and my friend was driving from Sarajevo, Bosnia and were extremely tired — we booked two rooms each for € 34. First of all the address given was hard to locate on google map- we were circling around the hotel for 30-40 minutes— we’re calling hotel to get some sense or direction from the receptionist but there was NO response. Eventually we were able to located this hotel with the help of local Albanians we found at the corner — GPS was 200 meter off of the actual location which was also hidden in a narrow alleyway. When I arrived at the reception, the attendant was an old man with NO English. In the middle of the night, we are trying to explain each other that I have booked two double bed rooms and he was keep nodding that he don’t have any available rooms —- Also, he informed us (in sign language) that there is No Parking and when I checked the local Street there was Parking restrictions with toe away zone—- He later offered us a 4 bedroom and a 3 bedroom for €55 and €45– when I showed him the booking for two rooms for €68, he signed us to outside door—- it was around mid night and we decided to take just one room for €55. We then have to find a 24/7 parking garage and paid them €5 for overnight parking—- and then walk 15 min back to the hotel- in the morning again 15 min walk to Garrage then come back to pick up stuff from the hotel.

The room was extremely dirty, blood stains on the pillow. It was smelling like cigarettes. The door was almost falling apart. They say they have a parking but it's somewhere in the basement-2 where you don't feel comfortable even to walk there. Then you have to carry your luggage all the way and pass through a bar. We couldn't stay there, it was really bad. Even if we arrived at 22:00 after 400km of driving we decided to leave and find another place. They must make some improvements of the location. Don't trust the pictures!

The reception wasn't manned in the early hours of the morning, so when our pre-ordered taxi didn't arrive on time, there was no-one around to assist us with this, as we would have hoped.

Select City Centre was a good stay. Value for money, and all the amenities needed for one night.
