The hotel is good value in Berat. It is located just outside of the old town with the castle, restaurants, shops, etc. all close to the hotel. The optional breakfast was very good. The room was simple, but the a/c worked and as noted it is more than adequate given the reasonable cost. I would recommend it as a budget option.

Lovely place right in Berat. Location was perfect, staff was great and the most welcoming and we got a parking spot right in front of the hotel. Would recommend anytime.

The towels: Super hard and scratchy. Wish they had softer ones. Bathroom smelled if you didn’t leave the bathroom window open to let the room air out.

Great location in a historic building right in the center near the Lead Mosque. Good value and easy to find. Great common room downstairs with fireplace. Comfortable rooms with AC, balcony and good WiFi. I had breakfast once for €5 and was ok. Hosts were friendly.

Open window in bathroom made it really cold and windy. Our bed was a bit squeeky.

Close to main street so can be noisy in early night, gets quieter later at night. Shower curtain not effective at keeping the water inside, makes a mess. Front desk a bit disorganised about bookings and other matters, patience solves everything. Breakfast, although a varied spread, doesn't feel worth the money (costs 30% of a night's stay). Nearest laundry place not so close.

Basic but comfortable room, soft mattress, decent bathroom, great balcony. Good location. Recommend.

Well like some others have pointed out this hotel lacks a modern heating system and it was very cold at night when I stayed (mid March), although I could survive the night with a thick blanket they provide. Also in my room Wi-Fi connection was so week and basically useless

Great location and price. I paid only 15€ for a spacious twin room. Such an amazing deal! This hotel beats the most, if not all, competitors on the same area when it comes to price. It is also farily close to the center and the bus stop you use for connection from/to the long-distance bus terminal

Payment only with cash (even they have info on Booking, that they accept Visa card). The temperature in the room was very low (I think around 15 degrees Celsius) and that was the biggest problem – we turned on the heating, but still it was cold the whole night.

Right in the city centre, fair price and comfortable bed, there is a balcony, where you can dry your shoes etc... I love the old style of this hotel.

Shower had weak pressure. High window had to stay opened.

Excellent customer service. Breakfast was delicious. Food was good and the table was beautifully set. Attention was paid to details. Location was extraordinary. The balcony had a view of the city. Rooms decor was also beautiful. Lobby was uniquely decorated.

If I have to look for improvements then perhaps a pair of slippers would have been nice.

Authentic ambiance, helpful staff, wonderful breakfast, convenient parking. Even though a short stay, and would have loved to absorb more of the local culture, I really enjoyed the common areas with the typical seating arrangements, carpets and art work.
