The room I got smelled terrible! It seemed like there was pet urine on the carpet. I complained to the front desk, and they upgraded me to a bigger room!!

I liked the location of the property and the facilities it offered, we were next to a river canal and had a nice room, the staff are amazing here and the facilities are amazing.

Abdul Tawheed has been an outstanding leader, ensuring my room was impeccably managed, providing all the necessary services, and handling my luggage with an exceptional attitude. Adi was equally wonderful, offering attentive assistance throughout my stay and ensuring my departure was smooth and seamless. Additionally, Blaise (if I recall the name correctly) went above and beyond to secure a room with a beautiful bathtub upon my request. The entire team was incredibly helpful and attentive—I didn’t have to lift a finger as they took such excellent care of me. I will definitely return for another stay.

The only thing I would say is the pool area is quite small however we had other places booked during our stay so this wasn’t an issue and you do get free access to soluna beach club.

Our stay at The First Collection Waterfront was beyond expectations. Our room was spotless and the view was breathtaking. Shower draining too slow so bathroom floor was flooded, but they cleaned it afterwards.

It is with great pleasure that I am writing a review of the First Collection Waterfront. I can only use superlatives to evaluate the quality of cleanliness, service and personalized attention rendered by the hotel staff . Free bus shuttle at designated times to major attractions made our stay super comfortable. Rooftop pool provides fabulous skyline views of the downtown. In general, it was a stay to remember that made our holidays.

The shower cabin was spacious and comfortable, but water tended to leak outside, making the bathroom floor wet. Not sure if this was an issue in just our room or a more general problem. Our room had a view of the street and some nearby construction, but the reception kindly offered an option to upgrade to a better room view. It wasn't really a problem for us, but if you prefer to have a more scenic view, it's something to keep in mind.

We had a pleasant one-night stay at this hotel in Dubai. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide selection of delicious options. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, with special mention to Mr. Nadim, who was very helpful with our luggage and helped us settle into the room. He also assisted in booking a taxi, making our stay even more convenient. The hotel offers great value and is in a good location, close to the Dubai Mall, which was made even more convenient with their free shuttle bus service.
