When I booked and looked up the property, i became a little worried about the ‘flat’ being just one room in some cramped place and to be told I was in room 6, I got concerned. It all sounded a little confusing, but as I can’t cancel it’s money I can I’ll afford to loose. I needn’t have worried. ‘flat’ 1, is the whole floor of the building. It has 12 individual self contained bedrooms with access only via key card. The room is small, granted, but the bathroom is large and within the room. A good hot shower and clean toilet. There is a communal area which consists of a large kitchen and seating area. I was very comfortable there and slept incredibly well. The Nest is situated 300 yards from the main town and an easily accessible walk. Granby street is full of great restaurants and take awaits.

The ‘reception’ area is in the front lobby. It’s small but practical. The major space in the building has been taken up as residential space. The staff member on the desk when I arrived put me in a blind panic when she asked for photo ID and a card to secure the £100 safety deposit. I doubted myself, but I was sure I’d done that in advance. Sure enough a few Minutes later, the necessary advance information had been done and she had the details she needed. I was advised that the key code to the lock box had changed, when in fact it was the same as the email I had received. Each day, the staff reminded me that the code had changed, but hadn’t. Staff seemed to be insistent that I used the lock box to access the key to open the front door, when they were sitting on the desk on websites not related to work. I felt that I had interrupted their Facebook time. Going through the lobby when staff were there wasn’t the warmest of interactions.

Great location, property was very clean and pristine. Was able to use the washer to clean up some stray chocolate spills on my daughter's clothes. I can see how a family staying here for a longer period would really be able to optimise their luggage and laundry costs, as I used to travel in Europe and finding a laundromat was always a fraught endeavour.

The hot water heater is a bit counter-intuitive, and (warm) water flow was weak. This is because the hot water is heated electrically at point of use, and not using an immersion tank. I was unable to find any way of controlling the temperature - all of the radiators had their controls at maximum - but the boiler turned off at some point in the evenning and it got cold during the night.

Located close to Pultney Bridge. Many restaurants and cafe nearby. Near to city yet quiet at night. I was staying at the traditional part of the hotel. Initially I was given a cramped and small room. I requested for a change of room and was upgraded to a spacious room without extra costs the next day. Kudos to the team!

The whole place was spotlessly clean, Joanne was very friendly and helpful, we ordered breakfast of bacon sandwiches and juice which was brought to the room and there was so much we couldn't eat it all ,

The approach was still being paved and you passed through rubble and work men to get to the room.
