The location was great for Santa pod raceway day out. The character of the property was beautiful with exposed brick walls as well as a newly refurbished bar and seating area with pool table etc .. outside drinking, dining area, right in the town centre with lots of shops and other eateries available. Zoe the manager made our stay very very welcome. She was lovely from start to finish.. even brought drinks up to our room and crisps for the children! When the bar was a little busy for us. Family room for 4 215 was fab!

The cottage was very well appointed and in a good location. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We travelled by train and it was a short walk from the station. The walk into town was very quick and the harbour was very pleasant. It was easy to self cater or eat out.

The location was perfect! The room was absolutely spotless and the receptionists were so nice too. They made me feel so welcome and explained all the different areas of the building.

I wish the pillows were better as I felt they were not firm enough but overall the everything else was perfect.

The stay was perfect. Beautiful rooms and facilities. Incredibly scenic location and grounds. Staff are incredible. Food is phenomenal. Nothing at all to dislike, it is beautiful.

So close to Wembley and with parking - exceptional value, couldn't have stayed in a better location for the concert we went to.

The room I knew would be basic for the price which was fine, but the bath looked dirty, there was only one cup and towel for 2 people, a coat of paint would have done the trick and some new mastic around the bath, plus the beds looked like they had been purchased in 1950 or from a 2nd hand shop but turned out to be relatively comfortable (not for more than 1 night as the mattress was so thin) and the linen that we had was clean (not sure what the duvets and pillows looked like within).

Bar closed early. Offered to open but was dark and obviously shut with no people or ambience which was disappointing . Also car park full of workmen's vans in evening so no parking for guests available

The showers have little to no pressure and if you end up in room 1 the only way to use the bathroom mirror is to kneel on the floor, I understand that the room is wheelchair accessible but it needs a mirror at able bodied height
