Everything at this property was perfect. From the wonderful owner Julie who ensured she was on hand - with Toby the official dog guest ambassador - to welcome us , to the design and the layout, the furnishings; quality towels and bedding and thoughtful touches like water in every bedroom, chocolates , fully equipped kitchen and great bathroom facilities and heating. The second downstairs toilet was appreciated. Location was terrific and close to Reading and local shopping centres . We are sad to be leaving

The apartment was nice, cozy, clean, and thoughtfully furnished with a range of amenities. The room was spacious and the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The location was great which is close to Stirling Castle. The free parking lot was located near the apartment, offering easy access and added convenience. Additionally, the host was consistently responsive and provided prompt assistance whenever needed.

The only minor issue we encountered during our stay was that the walls seemed to lack soundproofing. We occasionally heard footsteps from the upper floor in the early morning. But it was temporary only, the apartment returned to its peaceful ambiance after they left, and we were able to thoroughly enjoy the rest of our stay.

The location was excellent being within 100 yards of the train station. Although parts of the hotel were a bit dated, it was very clean and the room was perfect. On arrival, the staff greeted us with some of their typical Scouse humour and offered us a choice of room. The price we paid for the room proved to be excellent value for money for the 2 nights we stayed.

The only criticism, and it wasn’t really an issue was the constant buzzing of a generator or something similar nearby. It certainly didn’t spoil our stay though.

Breakfast was ok and if you want more there are plenty of places to eat out.

No storage for anything, the shower should have a privacy sticker put on the glass. You’ll trip over your suitcase if you have one. Door to bed is about 3 1/2 steps and you have the shower and toilet in between those steps. Location wise it’s excellent.
