The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. I'd like to give a particular mention to Millie on reception who undoubtedly went the extra mile, switching us to a room inside the hotel rather than in the annexe and providing us with ice buckets, cutlery etc when we arrived late and weary and needing sustenance. I would further add that it was an extremely well-appointed and pleasant room

- This hotel is fine for a short stay and a place to put your head down. - Staff are very efficient and receptionist was very welcoming. - Lots of space to park the car and 5 mins into Fort William. - TV in the room, albeit very small. - The room was warm. - Beds were actually quite comfortable.
Negative section of review
- No elevator. - Breakfast was poor quality and dinner was little quantity, but for the price it's fair. - The whole hotel is tired and seems a bit 'sad' overall.

The shared room was a bit small and very hot, most of my roommates were complaining how high the temperature in the room was and we were unable to turn down the radiator. Otherwise the stay would be better

We were moved to savoy because of a boiler issue in Mercure thought this would be a nice alternative but I was wrong.

Nobody showed us to room, No lift, No plugs accessible to charge my phone, toilet door was a sliding door that was very noisy and you could see into the room with it closed, heating pipes made a lot of noise through the nite, couldn’t find a kettle of coffee until we were leaving as it was in wardrobe, Breakfast well that was not an ice experience lots of dirty tables around us that didn’t get cleared was very of putting and very slow service. Sorry but I would not want to return

The weddings had to move rooms I should have been put in a different room to begin with as I was staying for quite a few nights. They also state that they don’t allow dogs however when I asked they have allocated dog rooms I specifically went there because I don’t want to be in a hotel with dogs. They have since updated the website.
