We have stayed here before, we love the views from the terrace looking over the river. It's a great location, quiet and friendly helpful staff.

Rooms are OK, the bed on our last visit was just awful. Visibly dipping mattresses which were very uncomfortable for sleeping. At £149 per night I expect a good night's sleep. Unfortunately we may check out the Premier Inn which is just a short distance away and still good location

Having to go to another building to check in...because it was a first visit and new to the area it took time to work out where to go to check in.... had to ask various members of the public where to find the building....other new stayers had the same problem.

The staff, room, breakfast and cleanliness were excellent BUT, the noise in our room during the night and into the early hours was not acceptable. It disturbed our sleep and awoke me with a startle. This happened on approximately 6 occasions. The next morning I discussed this at reception and asked for an explanation and maybe a refund or voucher of some sort as a gesture of goodwill. I’d requested a quiet room when booking as me and my part were in desperate need of quality sleep and recuperation. The reception staff referred my complaint to the Manager, Elliot Carroll, who told me that there had been a problem with water supply and that now it was resolved it was causing noise in the pipework. I asked for recompense but he just said that he couldn’t do anything at this moment in time We left feeling disappointed as this had been a treat for my birthday.
