    It starts with a booking

    It starts with a booking

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

  • Grand Millennium Business Bay

    - “Excellent 5-star hotel in Dubai, located in one of the best areas – Business Bay. Perfect if you are coming by car - excellent valet services and ample parking space. All the staff was friendly, attentive, polite and helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The services are great (e.g., We used the laundry service which was reasonably priced and timely, or the reception was always helpful with anything we needed). Hotel itself is new, very modern and tastefully decorated, with large lobby spaces to hangout. Room had a view of the bay and Burj Khalifa. Room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Amenities include chairs, tables, desk, windows with sun blinds, smart TV, powerful air-conditioning, mirror, plenty of closet space with hangers, safe, fridge, tea kettle, tea & coffee, USB charging sockets and lamps on both sides of the bed, great lighting, fast Wi-Fi, iron, shoe horn, hair dryer, and essentials like towels, shampoo, shower gel, etc. Bed and blankets were large. Mattress was very comfortable (also for people with back problems). Bathroom was spacious, well-designed and clean, with a bathtub, walk-in shower, bidet, toilet and vanity mirror. Breakfast was just delicious, with every variety of food imaginable. Staff was attentive and careful about allergies and special dietary requirements. Hotel has four in-house restaurants and a bar to choose from, all of which are excellent. One of the restaurants has their own sheesha place with excellent sheeshas and service. Hotel has a decent swimming pool with a life guard on duty and a pool-side bar with nice views. Spa (includes jacuzzi, steam, sauna, etc.) was well-maintained and massage services were excellent. In general, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in!”

A lovely little one bedroom cottage in the town if Mickleton, which is a quiet town however it does have two pubs within walking distance. The cottage has an off road parking space which made life easier. There is a fully functional kitchen with everything you want, the sitting room was cosy and warm, as was the whole cottage which we liked. The bed was lovely and comfortable, the shower room was spot on very spacious with a lovely powerful shower. The only slight issue was that the shower and toilet were downstairs with the bedroom upstairs, not a major issue and logistically with the design of the house it could not go anywhere else. Would we recommend, yes.

The location is absolutely amazing, beautiful and safe, honestly I don't think there's better location in the city. Close to shops, restaurants, supermarkets and transport that will take you anywhere. The apartment was very cozy and clean, with enough kitchen stuff for preparing easy meals. We stayed on the top floor and didn't experience a lot of noise from the street. Also the bedroom faced the back of the building so that probably helped a lot. We didn't have problems with the internet. The check in and out process was very smooth, when we left there was someone that recieved our keys so it was very easy.

The tv didn't work very well, the signal was very bad. The place could use a (big) broom and a cloth to clean the surfaces. The bed was very comfy but a bit small for two adults. The radiators made a lot noise and a couple of nights was hard to sleep. I particularly found quite unreasonable that you couldn't get an extra blanket, I don't think it's crazy to expect that some guests will have other needs and that the one duvet might not be enough.

Having been to the Chough's Nest before we knew what to expect and we were not disappointed. We were met with a cheery smile and given information about places to go for dinner that night if we wanted. The breakfasts were really good and we did not need to eat until well into the afternoon as we weren't hungry. Our room was lovely and had a double aspect, the view over the bay is fantastic. The first thing my husband did when we got to the room was open the window and listen to the sound of the sea and the birds as that is all you can hear. A lovely place to stay.

    • Negative section of review

The only down side to this place is it's location - and that is not the problem of the hotel, it is a problem for my husband who has an arthritic knee and the walk from the hotel to the town uphill is now a little much for him. Unfortunately we think this will be our last visit because of this issue of his but it has nothing to do with the hotel itself - which is fantastic.

Bathroom was aging abit, rusty appearance on the metal draws and some lights out. Could use a freshen up of silicone around the bath. Was clean and modern though.
