We were looking for a family friendly location and we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. A lot of activities are dedicated to children. Staff is really kind and helpful.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar. It was closeto the lake, the pools were very nice.

Flying L Ranch Resort & Golf Course is located in Bandera, Texas, "THE COWBOY CAPITAL OF THE WORLD"! This unique resort has a western flare with several amenities including golf course, playgrounds, sports courts, a huge swimming pool, miniature golf, golf driving range and practice greens, wagon rides, campfire & s'mores, and a bar & grill on site. Such a cute place. We are from the UK and it was our first time on in Texas and staying at a ranch. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The cabin was so cool, we loved it. We were there during a quiet period and they still did all the activities for us, s'mores and a wagon ride. They have set times for this which you can find out at reception. Would recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy a night on a ranch :)

Settled in the Texas Hill Country, this hotel is located 35 minutes' drive from San Antonio and offers free WiFi in all rooms. The resort features an 18-hole championship golf course, driving range, putting green, chipping area and pro shop. It’s beautiful out there! The pool is so nice and the clubhouse has wonderful food and live music! Love the night fires too! It’s such a cool hotel!

In the surroundings, guests can golf at Landa Park Golf Course, which is just 3 minutes’ drive away. Interstate 35 is within 10 minutes’ drive of The Schlitterbahn Resort, and San Antonio is 39 minutes' drive away. Great location for both New Braunfels and easy to get to the highway and Interstate for travelling. Large rooms and having a separate kitchen and sitting room was excellent as I was staying for a full week and working. Very quiet off season (especially midweek) but safe and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
