I liked the location in the resort area.
Meadowlake Resort and area is one of our favorite places to go to rest and recharge. The house had plenty of room, comfy beds, a hot tub we enjoyed and a playground close by.
We loved the cabin we rented and the hot spring pools at the resort were amazing! Big enough for lots of folks to enjoy and varying temps for kids as well. Included in the price for our stay which was great! We really enjoyed our stay here, and the proximity to Yellowstone National Park is perfect. If we're ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here.
Our room was a studio which we chose to get a full kitchen for the 2 of us, primarily to make breakfast. The room was a bit cramped, but well equipped and worked well for 2 of us. The resort has good facilities (we used the hot tub), is RIGHT next to the slopes, has a super convenient and friendly ski valet to store your gear overnight. It is part of the base complex that has restaurants, convenience store, and ski shops so everything is in walking distance.
I liked the location; I have stayed many times at the hotel. But this go around was poor. Our toilet kept clogging up the lady at the desk gave us a plunger, our floors were sticky and dirty, and the price was different than what was agreed. online it said $378 and when I checked in, I ended up paying $498. Front desk lady said I will have to talk to the manager. Manger finally called me on Sat at 12:22 after we checked out. Other than that, the resort was relaxing, just a few minor things.
The host, Jessica, has this large Studio setup with a lovely seating area with 2 loveseats and large coffee table, beside the bed.... very cozy with fishing motif! the TV is very large and we watched the 2024 Superbowl here... memorable! The views outside are STUNNING! Sat in the HotTub last night and watched the sun set turn the surrounding mountains (180 degrees!) PINK! We came here to ski Big Sky Resort and it took 1 hour 10 minutes along a beautiful river/forest road. Would love to stay here again!
Convenient to Big Sky Resort. Quiet and comfortable. Great value.
The house and location were PERFECT! There were all of the comforts of home plus the added touches of resort. Coming from Florida, we didn't really know what to expect (this was otherworldly COLD) but these hosts and this house were FABULOUS!
Almost everything! Let’s be clear, it’s not an all inclusive luxury resort, but it is an excellent value for a basic, clean, functional, safe place to rest after driving all day. I’m sure it’s more expensive in high season (we were there in the fall)
