Great little resort in the Amargosa. Great rooms and great food and great ambiance. The bar with the grand window looking at the funeral mountains is great.
This is a large resort hotel with no real competition as it is at Furnace Creek, Death Valley. That said, it provided very comfortable rooms; the amenities were varied and good. The room rate was reasonable given the location and time of year we stayed.
The location was perfect to view Death Valley. The resort has a long term contract with the National Park Service so not interested in fixing anything. But, the location was of course prime - no where else but Xanterra.
An efficient motel on the side of the road, don’t expect luxury or extra attentions. It’s exactly what you expect but we had a good night sleep and everything was clean.
Absolutely fantastic . Did not imagine such a high quality , large luxury place would be in the middle of the desert . Exceptionally well maintained and clean
