Wish we could have stayed longer.

Situated in Sukhothai, 13 km from Sukhothai Historical Park, Mango House features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The resort provides city views, a terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available. Very helpful and kind staff, helped us with bus booking and also managed tuk-tuk for us from the Mango House early in the morning. 100% recommend.

With a private bathroom, rooms at the resort also boast a city view. At Baan Sakuna Hotel rooms come with a seating area. I can't even begin to describe how perfectly amazing our stay was at Baan Sakuna! We had only booked one night ahead of our boat trip to Laos the next morning. When we arrived at this beautiful garden oasis overlooking the river, we were blown away by the views, the setting, the surroundings. But that was only the beginning. The lovely owner and her staff greeted us with the news that we'd been upgraded to a suite since the hotel was full that night. Our luxury suite had its own living room, bedroom, not one but TWO bathrooms with rain showers, and a balcony with such a good view that we could see Laos! The room was incredible, but we barely had much time to spend in it, because it was Christmas Eve and we were invited to join in a buffet dinner thrown by the staff and a large group of motorcyclists staying at the hotel that night. We came down to the restaurant to be greeted with holiday decorations, the entire staff and group of travellers dressed up in festive costumes, and an ENORMOUS spread of some of the best food I've tasted in Thailand (and that's saying a lot!). Since we were the only people not with the group, they invited us to join them and it turned into probably the most memorable Christmas I've ever spent either at home or abroad. The next morning before we checked out, the staff woke up early to serve us breakfast, despite the late night before. We sipped coffee and ate home cooked food while watching the sunrise. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect moment. Baan Sakuna, thanks for a totally unique and memorable stay. We'll never forget it!

Very friendly staff (thanks Muai!), peaceful beautiful environment, nice food, comfortable room.

The property is around 600 metres from Pai Night Market, 2.5 km from Wat Phra That Mae Yen and 10 km from The World War 2 bridge. Wat Nam Hoo is 5.4 km away and Tha Pai Hot Spring is 8.5 km from the resort. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had an early bus and got a delicious breakfast to take away with us which we really appreciated!! The breakfast was so yummy every morning and the bungalow was spotless. We liked that we were just a 5 minute walk from the main street but the bungalow area was so quiet and peaceful. Great value for money for the standard of breakfast, accommodation and service.

Likes: Attentive owner and staff, very clean and spacious room, well-thoughout property design, convenient restaurant / dining area, location can't be beat. All around, truly one of the best places I stayed during my eight weeks in Thailand. Fantastic value.
