Surrounded by rice fields and mountains, The Countryside Resort is 1 km from Pai Town. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with roof terraces where fresh country air can be enjoyed.

Lazy afternoons can be spent soaking up the sun by the outdoor pool or enjoy a relaxing massage. Thai cooking classes can be arranged by the hotel. Everything! It was a serene haven, surrounded by countryside, but still only 15 minutes walk into the centre. And plenty of cafes nearby (Thai Zen Organic Farm is my favourite). The backstreets are gorgeous and quiet for a walk or run early morning. The pool is so refreshing in the hot weather and the little terrace on the top of every bungalow has a lovely view especially morning and evenings. There are other little spots to sit around the site; and the staff are friendly. I can’t recommend staying here enough!!

At the resort, all rooms are equipped with a balcony with a mountain view. The rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. All rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Omg! I love this place. The view of the mountains in the morning is so beautiful. On the map it showed it would take 26 min walking into town but it’s only 4 min because of a bamboo bridge the town has which leads to the night market and all the restaurants and small bars. The location was perfect. Not in town but basically close to it. The free breakfast aka the pancakes were delicious. The only thing was the lack of water pressure for shower but honestly I didn’t even care. I stayed 4 nights. I wish I would spend less time in Chiang Mai and at least another 2 nights in Pai. Also don’t the location doesn’t have air conditioning but don’t let that steer you away because it gets cold at night and they do have fans. I always let the windows and door open. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Wat Nam Hoo is 5.4 km away and Tha Pai Hot Spring is 8.5 km from the resort. It's a perfect place to discover pai and the area. The localization is fabulous because you will stay on the other side of the river. You will need 3 minutes to go to the main street but stay in the middle of fields. The view is fabulous and Paradise for birds around. For nature lovers.

Great value for the money, the breakfast that was included was awesome. We would definitely stay here again

Best view in town in a super chill cafe/restaurant. It was a really peaceful stay, we enjoyed since first minute there. Lovely service, delicious coffee, nice and clean room, you wake up with the sound of nature. The room was fresh at night perfect to sleep with the fan and the window open with the mosquito net (may 2024)
