It's run by a small family that is VERY friendly and nice. They also sell beautiful merchandise that contributes to a local red cross organisation. The room and toilet are BIG and CLEAN! You can see Laos across the river. They also have a cafe at the lobby that serves food and great coffee. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. Will definitely make a return again.

Saikaew Resort is a 5-minute drive from Sunday Walking Street and a 15-minute ride from Chiang Rai Airport. Wat Chiang Yuan is located 1 km away. On-site parking is provided. Superb view over a magical lake! The room is very spacious and well designed! The big balcony has a small kitchen and overlooks the lilly pond full of life! The staff was super helpful and can arrange high quality scooter for rent! Plus they bring and pick up the scooter on location! We truely enjoyed our 5 nights here!!

Its three-level outdoor pool overlooks the Mae Kok River, while its Parvati spa provides massage treatments. The property is stunning, and its easy to get cabs - which is a big bonus! The hotel helped us organize a tour to the temples and black museum, which was super helpful! We really loved our time here! And the pool was amazing, as was the truffle pizza! We wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the rest of the hotel!

There was toast, cereal, orange juice and coffee that we could help ourselves to. The beds were one of the comfiest we have stayed on in Thailand. Great night's sleep! The host was extremely sweet and very helpful
