Yes you can hear the road in the queen villa, but in Chiang mai and almost everywhere in Thailand there is a road somewhere. It is not loud and not in the evening and at night. Conveniently located not far from Chiang Mai Old Town, Na Nirand Romantic Boutique Resort offers spacious rooms fitted with wooden furniture. The outdoor swimming pool is perfectly designed for indulgent relaxation. The on-site restaurant offers peaceful views of the Ping River. Free WiFi is accessible in all areas and free private parking is available for all guests who drive. We absolutely loved Na Nirand! Our room was huge and tastefully decorated, turn-down service had a little surprise each evening, and the beds were extremely comfy. They also thoughtfully gave us a birthday cake for my husband and a bottle of nice wine. The pool was a delight: so beautifully designed. The breakfast area was stunning next to the river. We got up early one day for a tour and saw the sun rise. Magical. The spa is also great. I got a foot massage one day and a package another (steam, bath, scrub, massage). All were exceptional. And most importantly, the staff are fantastic. Every one of them, from the front desk to the bar to the spa to the cleaners to the restaurant people were helpful, kind, friendly, and welcoming. Thank you! Altogether, our stay at Na Nirand was unforgettable! We hope to return.

Hongkhao Villa offers a Lanna-style boutique resort located in Chiang Mai, close to the Mae Ping River. With it's hotel name translating to 'white swan' the property features different tones of white and genuine teak furnishings throughout. A beautiful and relaxing lanna style village, the room is big and comfortable. The dining place for breakfast is full with greens as well. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Situated in Chiang Mai, 3.7 km from Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, Amata Lanna Village อมตะล้านนาวิลเลจ features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. With free WiFi, this 4-star resort offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. Guests can use the hot tub, or enjoy pool views. The grounds and rooms are absolutely beautiful and the staff are top notch. They were extremely attentive to our needs. They even noticed from my passport that I was celebrating my birthday and stopped by our room with two pieces of cake to sing Happy Birthday. We really enjoyed chatting with the owner while we waited for a tour guide to pick us up. She even showed us how to pick out ripe Burmese grapes from one of the trees on the property! We found that the location suited our needs. There was a small, but bustling night market within a few blocks as well as an open-air market nearby. It was a little far from some of the main attractions, but Bolt (the Thai version of Uber) was easy and inexpensive to use. And, we weren't surrounded by tourists or shops geared towards tourists, which we prefer. We also really enjoyed the pool after braving the intense heat! We have stayed in some really amazing hotels (e.g., open-air tree house bungalow in Mexico, renovated Turkish bath house in Greece, renovated wine cave in France) and Amata Lanna Village ranks right up there with some of our most memorable stays. We found it to be a perfect combination between luxurious and charming. If we are ever in Chiang Mai again, we wouldn't even consider staying elsewhere. We had a fantastic stay!
