Södermalm, Stockholm
Departing from the Stadsgården terminal in Stockholm, this Viking Line ferry sets sail for Helsinki. There are multiple cabin options available, each featuring a private en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as a desk or seating area. Our cabin was lovely. It was basic but very clean and comfortable. The bedding was super fresh and the beds themselves were actually really comfortable, we both slept really well. The ensuite was small but perfect, plenty of hot water, and the shower was great. We each bought a €2 cup of tea from the Bottega Prosecco Bar, and after that any extra cups were just €0.50 each :) The cabin was really cosy and excellent value for money.

Departing from the Stadsgården Terminal in Stockholm, this this Viking Line ferry sails to Helsinki. There are several options of cabins, each with a private en-suite bathroom featuring a shower and toilet, as well as a desk or seating area. Our room was clean and nice. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom, each of us had 2 towels, soap. On a boat you can find pretty expensive food in cafe, even more expensive food in a restaurant. We tried our luck in a casino, saw people dancing. It was a nice atmosphere.
Breakfast was quite good, not luxury, but you had enough to make sure you were good to go, and explore the city. Easy to reach, quite central in the city, and walkable to different areas in Stockholm. The room was quite nice, modern, well heated.
Great value for money. Surprisingly quiet. No luxury but the essentials, just the beds are a bit narrow or stiff
The service feels luxury.!
I have been two times in this Italian-inspired hotel and it made me forget about the gloomy world outside. The food, especially the must-try pizza at Impasto, is a delight. The spa, complete with an inviting outdoor pool, add a touch of luxury. Everything is clean, and the staff is really friendly. Highly recommend.
My recent stay at the Scandic Anglais Hotel was exceptional, highlighted by its spacious rooms, stunning views, and comprehensive amenities. The accommodations provided plenty of space and comfort, and the views enhanced the overall experience. The breakfast options were diverse and delicious. Evenings at the hotel bar provided a perfect setting for relaxation, with a great selection of drinks. The gym was well-equipped. I highly recommend the Scandic Anglais for its outstanding services and facilities.
Great all inclusive breakfast !!!! Short walk to underground trains Super mart next door
The hotel style, good style, old -luxury enough , great bathroom!
The overall look and design of the hotel. The amazing city view, the retro luxury feel of the room. The nice bar.
- luxury interior. - attention to details. - nice spa, but it's not included, be careful! - helpful stuff, even to our difficult request.
Simple, and you look in vain for "luxury", but with excellent service, and free shuttle transfer to and from Arlanda Airport. The rooms are relatively small, and simply furnished (standardized IKEA furniture), but they are clean and comfortable, and everything works. The bar and restaurant, including the breakfast, is again a simple affair, with a limited but entirely adequate selection.
