There was a lot of natural light and a full living room with a stocked minibar and even a bottle of sparkling wine. There was ample parking. They have an on-site restaurant and it's far enough removed from Bran that it was out of the constant hustle & bustle of tourists at the castle. I think it's run by the family that lives in the house right there so they are doing a lot of jobs so it's not like a regular hotel where someone is sitting at the desk 24/7 but we never waited for than 30 seconds for someone to attend to us. Just communicate with them ahead of time if you're arriving or otherwise needing them after hours (this wasn't an issue for us but I'm trying to think proactively).

Locatio nwise, it is close to everything one would like to visit - 2 min walk to the Rasnov fortress cable car and the old city centre, and 8 min walk to Dino Park. Hihgly recommended!

The food was delicious, made with local, fresh produce and we ended up buying some for ourselves to take back home. Many thanks for making us feel very welcomed during the three days spent there. It features 2 lakes, 4 fishing ponds, hiking and horse riding facilities, as well as a sauna. Excellent, very authentic castle hotel. The surrounding park is amazing and the staff is extremely helpful. Unfortunately, we arrived rather late and did not have time for dinner, but breakfast compensated us very much. Very good kitchen with traditional Transylvanian and Szekler food. There is a playground for kids and a beautiful small lake with boats.
